Oh Denise, I just lost my own dad to RSV pneumonia. It was heartbreaking and so quick. I hope you dad had a long and terrific life. He certainly created a wonderful daughter so I'm sure he was a special guy. You and I don't have much in common but I can tell you are a very genuine person. I really respect that. I hope you are comforted by love from family and friends. May his memory be a blessing.

My thoughts have been with you Denise, having my dad pass away 4 months ago, I can understand the challengs of the loss of a loved parent. On the topic of tmy envy hair wig, mine is Chelsea and when first wearing it found it tangled quite a bit. However I felt it was 'so much hair' that I took it to my stylist to have it trimmed and thinned. Since then ... amazing, no tangles☺. My only other issue with the wig is that it's 'medium gray' and the cap is an odd apricot colour which has shown through the hair at the ear tabs. Such a pity in a lovely hand tied cap. Ended up taking a gray copic marker to it which has helped camouflage the issue😆. Anyhow like you I'm now a fan of the synthetic human hair mix. Blessings to you 🙏xx

First of all, once again my sincere condolences on the loss of your father. And welcome back. I wanted to know the color of this piece, and do you see differences in how the color is expressed in the Envy hair vs. straight synthetic? You mentionned usinf minimal products. What about brushing, combing or styling? Also you wisely discussed possible differwnces in how the curlier wigs will wear. I am really interested in that. I know Envy says these will be good for two years. I find it hard to believe but maybe.

This one is Medium Brown, and color DEFINITELY presents differently on human hair vs synthetic, and even Heat friendly synthetic is different than regular synthetic. I don't have a comparison of that in Envy wigs, but I do in Jon Renau wigs.... look at how different the color Caramel Ribbon looks in the different fibers: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jIiVc4d9i7eoZ68 As for these lasting 2 years... I struggle to believe that as well as even some human hair doesn't last that long with daily wear... but so far the way this one is wearing I believe you will at least double if not triple the life of the typical heat friendly wig. Good thing I love this one and will wear it often so I can keep bringing updates!

Nice to see you again Denise. I lost my father December of 2020 it still is so painful. The Holiday's are just not the same. Your reviews are so helpful. I need a good heated curling brush going to look on your list of item's. I did get the Estetica shampoo you recommended and like it much better. Denise , I’m sorry to hear about father. It’s been so long since I’ve had a chance to reach out to you. I’m going to email you about my journey this past few months. I’ve been in a world , you praying and dealing with my very sick son. We almost lost him. He had surgery and was in CCICU to help him regain the strength to his lungs. In short, he strangely contracted MRSA I’m his lungs and to save him was going in up clean it up. God is still healing him. I’ll try to email you soon. I love this wig. There is no loss as devastating as the death of your parents. They are your guides, your teachers, your safe-havens. I am so very sorry for your loss! I have often wondered about ENVY WIGS' fibers. I do want to ask you to help me find a plastic hot air brush g or regular synthetics. During the holidays, I couldn't seem to find a single one! Thanks, Denise.

Hi! Regular synthetics are VERY tricky! I was under the impression that the only heat you can take to them is steam heat, and so I have used a round brush and steam in the past... but Rene of Paris just came out with a hot comb that can be used on regular synthetic and I did review it. It is best, in my opinion, for straight wigs or straightening a wig... but they do show that you can curl with it it on their KZbin channel. I tried it briefly and it didn't work for me, but I also can't curl with a flat iron and plenty of people can so I may not be the best person to try it. Here is my review: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qYWokIt7eM2aiLM .PS: I have used this hot air brush on a regular synthetic to fix wonky bangs and take a kink out of the hair on a straight piece.... the heat does not get very hot on it so I don't think you can really curl a wig with it, but it does work for those 2 things at least. Hi! Welcome to my channel and the wig sisterhood!!! Gosh, it is so hard to know for sure because the rest of your measurements do impact fit, even circumference. If the rest of your head is also on the small side, I think this might be too big. I usually recommend that new wig wearers consider purchasing from wigs.com because they have the best return policy out there with no restocking fee and a flat return shipping fee that they deduct from your return (you can print a label from their website)... last time I checked it was $9.99 and to me, $10 to try a wig and learn something is worth it.
