I've had one for some 6 months now. Nice guitar for playing out when it's real hot or cold...mine also needs a setup just have to get around to taking it in...

Very interesting - Thanks for the review and I would like to hear your opinion after the setup by a tech.

Thanks for your note. My Tech definitely improved it and I like it even more. If you see my next video on the bridge pins, you'll maybe get an idea of the improvement. I'm planning to switch over to some Martin Retro strings soon and will post a video on that so check in now and then if you haven't already subscribed.

I was very Leary about ordering a guitar from Amazon, but after watching other reviews regarding this instrument I decided to take the risk. The Guitar arrived and I was not disappointed, It did need to be properly set up as the action was high, but once that was done it plays very nice. The fact that they also give you a very good case with the guitar is a bonus. This is a very affordable Carbon Fiber Guitar.

I think I'll stick with the T's and the M's lol, but I definitely understand why you would want to take this out into the snow instead of the "woodies". And it sounds OK, just a bit boxy, but that probably would not matter too much live with the right EQ. Thanks for showing us!

I have a carbon fibre guitar and noticed a better result by using metal string pins in the bridge. It does make the guitar sound brighter in the mid-range. I use Elixer strings as well 12-53. Living in Arizona, I wouldn't EVER use a wooden guitar again, the humidity warping is a major problem... these guitars tho.. I could stand on the roof.. play for hrs.. go throw it in the lake etc etc... they are completely stable... hardly EVER need to tune it up. I play the solid neck Journey guitar..about 1400 to buy... it in many ways outshines both of my Matons. But I just love how I can pick this thing up and play it without messing around.

Thanks Phodis, That's a good idea. I have some brass pins I was using on one of my other guitars. I'll give it a try as I Would like a bit more midrange. Will let you and others know what I find.

Great review ! I’ve got the fever wanting one. You still like it now that the honeymoon is over. Let me know something when you get time. I’am not pushing any buttons just yet. By the way great playing. It sounds like we like the same kind of music. Thanks again now! Jeff Clark from Rockdale Texas

@jeffreyclark351 Yeah the Honeymoon glow has passed and I still like it a lot. I took it to the lake for a week and played it inside and outside and it played very nicely. Overall I still prefer my Taylor 2011 GA-LTD Cocobolo but, right or wrong, I can pamper that lady now. I'm good with the Enya for Midwest Summer outdoor gigs and jams. Most audiences like it just as well. Let me know if you get one and your impressions.

How do you feel about this guitar sound compared to Taylor series 100 or 200?
@harrynoggins Жыл бұрын
Thanks for your question. It's different. Not better, not worse. I've not tried a Taylor 100 or 200, my GA is more similar to an 800 but with Cocobolo back and sides. You can hear it on some of my videos here. The bass of the Enya is rich and authoritative but it's not as clear in the midrange or treble as a Taylor. It's hard to put into words but kind of like a big Baritone singer as compared to an articulate Tenor. (???). I took the Enya out to an outdoor Jam Session yesterday for 2 hours and it did quite well. I was pleased. I think I'll take it to my guitar tech and spend the money to have it properly set up as the nut and the saddle seem to be cut a bit high and my fingertips hurt today and I can usually Jam with my Taylor for 3-4 hours with no ill effects. I plan to do a followup video in a few days so stay tuned and thanks again for your question.

Sounds like a rubber band over a pie tin . Might work for a electric guitar but I'll stick with solid wood.👌 Good video
