Any words of wisdom for a lad in his middle 20s? More about pessimistic viewpoint that people are shit and nothing wrong in working on for yourself ( my viewpoint) but would love and appreciate the words of wisdom thank you
@FirstLast-nz9vo3 жыл бұрын
@@davidy498 sorry for the long reply well it seems we've all heard it before, but unfortunately not everyone really gets it I guess. I didn't for a while. I was really pessimistic, but I am starting to change fortunately. I am now 27 almost 28. My advice is to simply look at what you have, rather than what you dont have. Looking at the bright side of things. Like the glass is half full. To be grateful/thankful. I'm still a virgin male at 27 because I didn't quite know how to be confident in myself and to believe in myself. And how to go about getting laid. I always thought I didn't quite fit in. Like I was a misfit or something. Plus I also played hard to get I think, and didn't know how to properly communicate with people, especially women. I was a shy kid and my mom died when I was only 8 years old. And my dad didn't talk to me about girls or to help me grow as a person and to be social with people. And so as a result I think I didn't know how to properly interact with people. I never made too much of an effort to make friends or get a girlfriend. It's funny because I'm just really learning just how hot I am lol. And I think back to all those small interactions with women ( and black guys lol!) or the looks I got, and now I know what I should have done. It's absolutely hilarious 😂. I'm a hot piece of ass and just didn't quite know it. But I do now 😉 You gotta believe in yourself homie! Like I said I've never had sex and you know what, I think I'm OK if I never have sex at all in this life of mine. Knowing that I'm hot AF is plenty enough for me. I see it as a bonus. I'm trying to simply look at the bright side, remember!? Like the glass is half full. And for the other side where the glass is half empty, just simply let it be my friend. Unless you can do something about it. Then buckle down and get it done asap! No complaining! Trust me! Be the change you want to see in the world. If you can't change it, then do what the Beatles said, "Let it be". Don't get jealous of others. Stop comparing. Believe in yourself! Why waste time comparing, when you have your own life to live and your own self to improve 💯 naw I mean son? Lol! Try to be independent and not rely too much (if any) on other people. Don't be a sheep in the herd, always following others. Be strong enough to be a lone wolf when you want to or need to. Or like a solitary tiger in Siberia. You, are YOUR number one in life. Start to be happy now, otherwise you may never be! Be a free spirit. Get to it! Clocks ticking ⏰ Hope this helps my friend. Peace be with you ✌ ☮ 🕊 🏳 Put good in, and you'll get good out!

After the attack in Magdeburg, Germany, this song has been playing regularly for me. It expresses a lot of warmth, gives hope, and helps me process everything in a certain way. Even though I wasn't directly affected, it is my hometown. It touches me deeply, especially thinking about the many fates of the victims and their families. Lastly, I want to wish everyone reading this a wonderful Christmas season with your loved ones. Whether with family, friends, acquaintances, or even alone, cherish this time because it can pass so quickly.

@@Weg-e6m - Enya has borrowed from the musical canon of the Roman Catholic Church - massively influential in her native Ireland - and has encorporated elements of ecclesiastical music to make this song almost overwhelmingly universally familiar and comforting. She has even incorporated bits of "Faux-Latin" in parts of the choruses(Much like Vangelis does in the theme from the movie "1492"), which emphasizes the Church tie-ins. Why do I think this song is horribly sad, and horribly beautiful at the same time
@jaimepe47653 жыл бұрын
Because even though the lyrics are beautiful and hopeful, the context applies surely to loss, especially human loss. This is the song you listen to when looking for support after losing someone or tragedy.
@ramasitasagala64133 жыл бұрын
Same and the truth of life
@TheSLK663 жыл бұрын
Because the performance and vocals are beautiful but the emotions it evokes are sad. The instrumentation and vocals are quite simply perfect, but the lyrics and progression make it sound "sad", or rather that something just ended. Endings can be both tragic and beautiful. Something new starts, which evokes thrill, hope and happiness, but something else ends, which makes you feel sad, nostalgic, regretful.

My comment's probably really generic, but this song reminds me of my mum When I was a little lass (back then) living in Britain I always heard this song, and now as a young woman, every time I hear this song, I think of my mum who always played it on the telly so that the entire house heard it. Mum always likes to play it very loudly. It would be annoying but it's just something so sweet to me. But now it has such more meaning for me, particularly related to time, and I'm grateful to have inherited some of her music taste, as I absolutely love Enya's songs and recently discovered her other songs and it's helped to shape me into the person I am now. Sometimes I'd imagine me being in the music video and admiring the beauty of nature and time. Mum, if you ever see this, I want you to know that despite all the arguments and let-downs we had, I still am so thankful to you for everything you've done for me. Raising me as a single mother yourself and me being your only daughter and child. I'll continue to be there for you and even when you pass on, I still will. I love you mum.

i don't hate enya, i loathe her. her music is inane, unintelligible and boring . . . a total no talent !!! the other one who sickens me is that boring screech owl from French Canada (can't think of her name) YUK!!!
@haylabox16627 жыл бұрын
adelaide Your rude cause you said it was boring and it had no talent or she did not mean

Because she only sings four notes. I'm not much of a guy for lyrics. The melody is the part of a song that i care most about and this is just repetitive. I can appreciate the lyrics and the tone of the song though.

I remember listening to this during nap time in preschool and it’s so nostalgic. I miss the good old days man. I’ve listened to this song so many times and it never gets old. I love this so much, I can’t express it enough.
