This brings me back when I was a young boy watching my grandfather work in his shoe repair shop in southwest Philadelphia. Everything you pictured in the video he had...The sewing machine, along with the buffers, spools of thread, nails etc. He could take a piece of leather and make you a pair of shoes that would last you 50 years. He was born in November 1900 and learned his trade in Italy. This is unfortunately a dying art. Thank you so much for the fond memories of my grandfather.

There was a time in this country where we had craftsmen. Being one meant that you created something that you took pride in. Whatever the trade or craft, it defined you. I worked for the Bell System when being a craftsman meant you had to do things right all the time,no shortcuts and it was demanding but so rewarding

BANCADE & KARAMAAN TV I'm italian and you're right. Unfortunately the italian Gvernment is selfish and never think about the local entrepneurs that make good quality products. The taxes here are 65% of your wage, wich means that people can't afford certains products and they have to buy products that are made in china. I love Italy but his Government is trash.

BoPa BoPaSa More like Maserati. Lamborghini doesn’t have the craftmanship Maserati offers, they focus on performance.

Lala Loepsie Lets just stick to Ferrari for the analogy. I prefer Maserati hands down but they use a large number of umbrella manufacturer parts that are cheap and tacky certainly in the interior of the car. Very much a work in progress still. Ferrari on the other hand are just getting better and better.
