Not consistently. Any consistent AI behavior is something that can be heavily exploited with great proficiency. In this case, player can apply sufficient spacing and tee off with rapid punches as AI is more than guaranteed to go for the clinch thus is defenseless and wide open. If however, it occassion at weighs it's options and determines that clinging to the ropes (Rope a Dope trait) or simply fighting back might actually be better, then it becomes a guessing game adding a much appreciable push your luck element.

I must say, I do really appreciate the content of Livershot. The best content creator - always offering great insights with your voiceovers. I just hope they can significantly improve the AI power, punch selection in fights and overall difficulty… career mode could get boring quick if the AI isn’t competitive

I’m starting too see that you’re finally getting punished for your mistakes now. Anytime tot got dropped in the 4th round it was because he came out very aggressive and got hit with a counter. It ain’t perfect but it’s getting there

There's also the getting stuck in the pocket thing that needs to be addressed. I get hit with 3 or 4 punches sometimes in the pocket, because I can't move backwards because of the "infighting" mechanics. It's weird, and it's been there since the beta. Needs to go.
