Angelo has more team contribution, cn get some passes to teammates, open space for teammates. Madueke just tries to force dribble to the side and gets blocked when he tries to cross. Predictable and ineffective. I prefer angelo over madueke

@@ikeoguikechukwu3232 ok, let me explain this slowly for you. In Maresca’s formation, he keeps 3 back rather than 4 cos one of the full backs invert. My point to you is if you want the LB to invert in Cucu or Veiga, then the RB will form part of a back 3 like Colwill did in this game or like Chalobah did for Chelsea towards the end of last season when we were inverting Cucu. So again, it’s simple, the one that’s doesn’t invert stays back, they don’t bun forward like a full back, they tuck in to stay compact. Does that make sense?

I don't know exactly what I was expecting from Maresca's first game in charge, but it wasn't this. Where is the Pep like footy? This was so predictable, no fluidity, defense was mostly awful as usual. Badiashile should be badiashipped out... Guiu does look like the real deal, I hope he stays. Nkunku also looked hungry. I hope James stays fit.. GK is still a weak spot. Mostly it's the style of play that worries me, not the mix of academy and senior players in this game. Ugh. Fingers crossed we see something that resembles how the Foxes played last year... I know it's only pre-season, but holy hell, the opener against Man City is only a few weeks from now.
