Thanks for this. I've been interested in the scandi version of this knife for a while now. Not many reviews on it out there. I was reluctant of going stainless instead of carbon steel. Based on this review, I may have a replacement for my mora. Cheers,

I just got the Scandi version. Couldn't be happier with it

Very good review. And I, too, was amazed that you lit the feather stick with a ferro rod!

Yes. I have this blade and what surprised me was how thin it was behind the edge for being a production knife. That is something you only see in the custom knife world.

Really digging this knife....the profile looks very similar to my Izula 2.

I think sandvic 12C27 is great steel esp on a full flat grind I'm very impressed with how well it cuts in your video...DANG its a little wood destroying beast.
@UrbanSuburban0107 жыл бұрын
Airik1111 yep. I am still really happy with this blade. Thanks for watching.

Actually youre correct. Being a full flat grind, the spine is 90 degrees minus whatever is removed when its ground. Very sharp spine.

It's a great little knife. I love Enzo but this is one of the two models I don't have to mod the handle.

Yep. Great handle for such a small knife.

Great review! I don't have the Enzo Necker but was considering buying the blade and customizing a handle and sheat for it (that's one of my hobbies!!). I love Enzo blades especially their Skinner, it's the same steel and a nice full flat grind. Atb!

Nice review! I am really liking neck knives.....just started wearing a CRKT Folts Minimalist and love it but like the looks of this one too. Much better for camping and such. Thanks for sharing.
@UrbanSuburban0109 жыл бұрын
NeoWolf Thanks buddy. My first neck knife was the Minimalist as well, the clip point model. I really like that blade but the Enzo, being larger, is just so much more capable for camp tasks and such. Take care.
@NeoWolfsOutdoorAdventures9 жыл бұрын
Oh I agree with the size issue. I just like the size of the Minimalists for EDC at work. I am looking to expand my collection though for some variety. Thanks again.

Yeah I have a 14c28 steel folder and man can it take a seriously scary edge lol it allows you to get a very keen very thing edge n holds it quite well, not sure the difference between 14c and 12c but I imagine they have similar properties but I like my mora robust $15 for a super thick high carbon steel blade with a true scandi....

Really appreciate the review...well done! Lots of feedback on other Enzo knives (i.e., Trapper and Camper), but really tough to find a "real use" review of this blade. I picked up the Scandi in curly birch and have been really impressed with the fit-finish and ergos. I don't really need more than one of these, but I'm fighting the urge to collect/hoard them...just kidding (sort of). Thanks again and I'm looking forward to following your channel.

Fred Ey Thanks Fred. I tried to find a review a review of this blade too before I bought one and couldn't find any in English. I am strongly considering getting another one too. I really want to try out a scandi version. Thanks so much for the support and take care.

Nice and complete review. One question though. Will the holes of that sheath fit a tek lok?

Mine is mounted scout style on a large Tek Lok as we speak. Thanks for watching and great question.

There's nothing wrong with 12C27 when heat-treated well, but I do miss S30V or D2 options for this knife, which are available on other EnZo knives. I very much like the useful (and easy to sharpen) belly line and point of the blade, more so than on BRTK's Bravo Necker II.
@UrbanSuburban0108 жыл бұрын
+M00nsplitter Yep, I don't mind 12C27 at all either but the other options would be nice too.

Been checking this knife out for a while now. It's between this and the Boker PSK. Can you tell me the spacing of the holes on the kydex sheath. Wondering if it would fit a large tek lok.
@UrbanSuburban0109 жыл бұрын
+Neil The Knife Guy Sorry for the super late reply. On my sheath the holes are a hair over 1.2 inches center to center. I have no idea how consistent that is sheath to sheath though. It does line up perfectly on a CRKT molle lock though, but that would only work for vertical carry.
@NeilTheKnifeGuy9 жыл бұрын
+UrbanSuburban No worries. Been a little more busy with work myself. Thank for the info. I think even if a tek lock didn't fix I could figure something. Just waiting to find one now from a local company if I can. Thanks again for the help brother.

All those so called "super steels" will be old hat in 12 months anyway...but O1 and D2 will still be around..and the 12c27
@JordanMac795 жыл бұрын
They're all still better than o1 and d2 in almost every way... no matter how old they are

Should i buy this for 50€ or the lionsteel m4 for 160€???? Optionzz...
@UrbanSuburban0107 жыл бұрын
I am not very familiar with the M4 but they appear to very different knives. The Enzo is only about half the size. If you are looking for a lightweight, light/moderate use knife \i would go with the Necker. If you are looking to do heavier type work then the M4 is more for you I would think. Thanks for watching and take care.

UrbanSuburban thanks a lot for the reply i will think extensively and pick one.

so Scandy or flat grind, what is better ? :D
@UrbanSuburban0107 жыл бұрын
Stefan D o man. To me that is just a personal preference. For me, on knives of this size I usually like a flat grind as it seems to make them better slicers for finer tasks.
