Love these items. Here in UK our rights are to be a victim of crime without any defence. No weapons allowed. Even if you use an everyday item as a weapon like a key, you will be charged with carrying a weapon and harming a mugger. If you fight off an attacker, they will rush to a police station and report you for assault and you will be arrested and charged. Here we must allow ourselves to be victims if we want to keep out of prison. What a democracy.

Perhaps a PAC (Political Action Committee), could be formed so as to enable police, security and vulnerable members of society…to protect themselves. I would also suggest that charges be brought in civil court, in class action lawsuits.

When I think of hidden weapons I think of everyday objects in plain sight but used as improvised weapons, not purpose-built cane swords etc which could land you in trouble. Umbrellas, hardcover book, rolled up magazines, ballpoint pens, a piece of paper fashioned into a stiletto point etc. The brain is the real weapon and the possibilities are endless once ingenuity is involved. Nothing against your business but the apex of true martial arts, esp weapons arts, is the ability to fight with whatever is in hand. I carry a solid padlock and a strong carabiner and that works for me, two seemingly innocuous items that can be used a brass knuckles, inside fist loads or in conjunction as a “rock in a sock” combination. You can bring these anywhere, even past security and checkpoints with zero scrutiny. But as weapons, they are more than enough to pulverize bones and put holes in the skull. Lethal stuff.

Great stuff.Keep it up.Marvel's Bullseye is the one who inspired me a lot to know how to use improvised weapons from his ability to turn any object even the seemingly harmless ones into lethal weapons especially projectiles like,it's crazy ridiculous,the guy can kill you with anything from playing cards,toothpicks,pencils,pens heck he even spat his tooth to a prison guard's skull when his body was chained probably cause of the danger he poses and his accuracy is off the charts he's such an exceptional marksman that rarely misses.The only person who's made him miss is Daredevil and that's only because of his highly heightened senses.

I have the Cold Steel "Hidden Sword Cane" that they call the Night Watchman. It is an excellent cane and sword and well worth the money. I have the other sword cane you showed, as well. It just fell over one day as I was still getting used to using a cane, and the knob handle broke right off. That one little dab of glue wouldn't hold. Used some good cement on it later, but it is now relegated to emergency status in case I forget or lose the Cold Steel cane.
@Karatemart3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I've heard others complain about the knob falling off of that cane when they have purchased it from another company. We actually used a very strong epoxy to secure the knobs on the canes we sell so that doesn't happen with ours. We knew it was a problem, so we took the step to epoxy each one by hand. Great video and great products, once again. Now here's one piece of advice, make sure to tell the customers that THEY can sharpen the blades of what they buy from there, if it's not already sharp enough for their need! 👍🏽

Do you test these weapons for reliability? Is the comb knife durable, is it full tang?
@Karatemart2 жыл бұрын
Excellent question, David! This was one of my very first videos, so I didn't really know what I was doing yet. In all of my newer videos, we test out the weapons to make sure they are reliable. And, you often see weapons break or me mention negative things about them because I want to be as transparent as possible. That specific comb knife is a very inexpensive hidden weapon that could be used in a pinch during a self-defense situation, but wouldn't be a reliable or durable knife for typical knife usage. I'm not sure what the tang is on that knife, but it has a plastic handle, so I don't expect it to hold up very well for long term use. Thanks so much for watching and please check out my newer videos, because this one is not a great representation of our KZbin channel. Have a great week!

Here in Florida, the rules are clear, and the police and judges do not make all kinds of excuses in favor of the criminals. Where you are in this state, like what county or town matters, too. We absolutely have the right to defend our loved ones, ourselves, and our property. In fact, law enforcement sees it as making their jobs easier it ends up costing less in taxes to have to support these criminals. Credit cards are ctually pretty good weapons all by themselves with no enhancements.

I had to go overseas and was scared of all the unrest going on. Looked into cane swords and umbrella swords. Was just getting ready to buy something and talked to a co-worker coming back from the same location. He had his sword cane confiscated by TSA. He was told all TSA agents go through special training to spot all these gizmos. I ended up ordering a belt buckle knife but chicked out while I was packing.
@grinninggoat53693 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't call what you did "chicken out" as much as it was "wisening up"! None of these "HIDDEN WEAPON" items are a stranger to law enforcement, criminals and the folks that work at standard checkpoints or use metal detectors and x-ray scanners at events. All of the items are a dime a dozen and have been around for decades. The odds of being caught with one in a place ehere weapons are prohibited are better than you needing to use it there for defense. If you're lucky, you'll only be out the purchase price when it is taken away. Also, even if not in a situation where it would be confiscated, all but 1 or 2 of the items would increase your odds much at all from a determined attacker, especially one that takes you by surprise. Often heard of but seldom seen is the situation where there is a helpful reverse surprise from a defender within the few seconds of the first surprise from an attacker that involves a dime-store "hidden weapon". What matters most is what you do beforehand to avoid finding yourself in a location of suprise attack. Asides from that, keep calm when it happens, use your brain and also train before you need to place you life in the hands of a cheaply made tube of "Attack lipstick", "Hairbrush of Death" or "Cane Sword of Conan the Geriatric Barbarian". If you have a real situational need for a weapn... carry a real weapon. If one cam't legally do that where they live or themselves, then their #1 weapon (their brain) was not utilized properly and has already placed them at a vast disadvantage to people who chose to live in and amongst groups with much lower odds of needing cheesy "Hidden Weapons" to be in a crowd or tale a walk doen the road at night.

would be great if you had a knife belt made from leather.
@Karatemart3 жыл бұрын
Great suggestion! I considered making those a couple of years ago and even built a prototype, but I stopped because I realized that if they were leather, we would have to carry them in a bunch of different sizes. I may revisit this soon though because I think more people would wear leather belts. Thank you so much for the suggestion and for watching!
@pinkpriss3 жыл бұрын
@@Karatemart You could get away with only two sizes or even just one size. Let the buyer shorten it to fit. You could even include a cheapo disposable hole punch (a 4" length of 3/16" inner diameter X 1/8" thick wall steel tube, cone-sharpened on the punch-end, and perhaps a small side cut to push out the punch rounds and maybe a 2" long X 3/16" diam bolt to screw into the hammer-end) with it and thick leather is easy to neatly cut with all kinds of shears and snips. And I have always found use for any excess leather I've cut off of too-long belts. Chances are that anyone buying a leather knife belt is going to already have the tools (snips and a hole punch) and wherewithall to custom fit the thing. Also, consider a knife belt buckle that the buyer can fit to whatever belt they want.
@Karatemart3 жыл бұрын

I own one of those spiked rings. As far as I'm aware they only come in one size and the one I got was actually too small so what I did was put sandpaper on my finger and twisted my finger inside the ring and told the hole became big enough. But as a weapon I would personally keep the spikes towards my palm and use it as a slap weapon rather than a fist weapon since there's no support behind it like brass knuckles have and one could potentially break one's finger using it to punch with
@Karatemart3 жыл бұрын
