On May 13, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM CEST, join us for the Earth Observation Advanced science Tools for Sea level Extreme Events (EOatSEE) SCIENTIFIC ROADMAP WORKSHOP. EOatSEE is funded by ESA and it aims at providing advanced reconstructions of the processes involved in Extreme Sea Level (ESL) events and the resultant coastal hazards.
This collaborative effort brings together numerical modeling experts and remote sensing scientists to leverage the latest advancements in Earth Observation technology.
Beginning in June 2022, EOatSEE is now entering its final phase, culminating in the production of a Scientific Roadmap to guide future research in ESL. This online workshop will feature presentations of the project's key findings, along with demonstrations of new solutions developed in other projects to enhance coastal resilience in the face of climate change.
Throughout the event, interactive polls and inquiries will highlight the most pressing issues and information needs identified by coastal scientists, managers, and stakeholders. We invite you to participate and discover the cutting-edge technology addressing rising sea levels and storminess, while contributing to the identification of key information gaps in this critical topic.
