My sister's wedding had a contingency plan for crashers in the invitations, the bride and groom will scream out "crab cakes" and everyone replies with "meatloaf" just before the real party started, 3 people didnt join and they turned out to be crashers. Kudos to you Sis for an effective way to flush out unwanted guests.

The way that scene is shot is stellar; even though it's an obvious stage-punch, the way Vaughn is hidden from view and suddenly busts in with the punch when you're not expecting it makes it land like a bag of bricks

This was the first unrated movie my mom watched with me when I was a kid and it’s such a core memory. This film is classic. We still say, “you shut your mouth when you’re talking to me,” atleast once a week. Lol.

My wife and I crashed a wedding last February 😂 Thanks Maggie and Joe! We just went in the ballroom bc it was the old Playboy ballroom back when it was in Chicago & we wanted to check it out. We ended up using their camera booth and getting some drinks before anyone showed up. Then we went back later that night after everyone was all sauced up and they let us drink & hang out. Pretty cool people & I hope they have a wonderful marriage together!

My wedding was crashed…by two older people that were attending a reunion next door. There was about 200 people in attendance so I just assumed they were some family friends on my husband’s side. They were in a lot of the pictures, dancing around and sitting with my grandparents. At least they weren’t trying to have sex with the guests. 😂

I'll never forget seeing this with my dad on opening weekend. It was one of the best times we ever had together, and I swear to god none of us in the theater could stop cackling throughout most of it! It was one of the few times my body LEGITIMATELY ached after watching a movie lol This also convinced me that Vince Vaughn is one of the best comedic actors of the past 20 years. His line delivery ALONE makes this flick a stone cold classic ❤

Vince Vaugh is one the most underrated actors. He is amazing comedian but did amazing job also in Hacksaw Ridge. Also Freaky (2020) was amazing show case of his talents. Cast of this film is simply amazing.

I got involved in my first long term relationship with a girl that initially appeared (on the surface) to be the sweet girl next door type. Then I discovered that she was a total freak. Been married 15 years and things are just as crazy as when we first met.

Bradley Cooper got very sick because Owen Wilson put Visine into his glass at Dinner. There is a myth that drinking Visine causes severe diarrhea. Not sure where that myth started, but I recall seeing the 'Visine in drink causing explosive Diarrhea' gag in a comedy movie from 1990 called "The Spirit of '76". Written by Francis Ford Coppola's son Roman, and Directed by Carl Reiners' son Lucas

Bradley cooper got sick in that scene because they put eye drops in his drink. Eye drops can poison a person, I think even kill them. But it will give you diarrhea and vomiting… Weird random fact- as I was typing this, I got a commercial for eye drops 👀😅

This movie got flack for the Visine scene. The old story was that a couple of drops of Visine in someone’s drink will cause nausea and uncontrollable diarrhea. Plot wise It gets Bradley’s character out of the picture for the night. HOWEVER - eye drops that reduces redness contains a chemical that if ingested can cause your respiration and heart to become dangerously slow, and I the prank has sadly killed people. (He also squirted in like half of the bottle!) 😳
