"We got a bleeder!" Fun Fact: Cameron Diaz admitted to Jay Leno to being the dead body inside the bag carried by the hitchhiker. What Script Fact: Dropping Ted on the stretcher wasn't scripted. When it happened, they cut to make sure Ben Stiller was okay and then thought it was so funny they left it in. Lost In Translation Fact: Lee Evans' English accent in the movie was characterized by a film critic as "quite possibly the worst fake British accent in a movie" he had ever heard. Lee Evans is in fact English. However the accent he used in this film was exaggerated for the role. Father's Cameo Fact: Cameron Diaz's father was on set during filming, so the Farrellys decided to throw him in the movie. In the scene where Ben Stiller is released from prison after being wrongfully accused of murder, Cameron's dad is the inmate in the front with a beard and long hair jeering at Ben.

What’s the deal with the scene where Pat Healy asks Mary if he can feel her breasts ? Is there some context to that that I’m missing? I guess I’d never seen the Unrated version of this movie until recently and that caught me off guard. But it doesn’t really make sense to me that they added it in.

A couple of pieces of trivia about this comedy gold: The Farelly Brothers are from Rhode Island, Cumberland I believe. That is most definitely not Cumberland High School at the beginning. Warren is wearing a Warren High School jacket. Warren High School closed in 1993. I think you might be underestimating how small Rhode Island is. Four towns over is not a big deal at all, and it fairly reasonable that he might have been a kind of local legend.

It was a full house and from the very beginning the entire audience began screaming...literally...with laughter. By the halfway point, there were seriously people on the floor....rolling. At the end it felt like everybody in there was friends with everybody else and when the credits started to roll not a SINGLE person got up to leave. We all...the entire audience...sang along to "Build Me Up, Buttercup" at the top of our lungs and walked out of that theater smiling from ear to ear. Hell, I still felt good a week later and I do again every time I remember it.

"He should have died instantly." got me. I remember seeing this on a date and the entire male audience in the cinema had the exact same reaction.

From what I understand the "frank and beans" bit actually happened to someone who made the movie. Maybe the director and that's how they had the idea for it. One of the funniest movies I've seen.
