Have you seen knight shift his "let's build a warhammer tank... the armor modeler qay!"??? Now that is a nice build. So I have to ask, is that something you could use? It's yellow and done very well, like how you would do a bulldozer, but it's a Sicaran Battle Tank. And what about plasmo - plastic models his "adeptus custodes venerable land raider - 24 carats gold - 28mm - tank model"??? Is there anything there, that is off use to you? Like any of the Interieur modifications or so? Maybe a polar expedition Snow Cat, with trailer, Imperial Style? And if you want to do a funny, Girls & Panzer, the anime, done with 40k Imperial tanks and so on. Now where is that Pirate Land-Battleship??? lol As for suggestions, which Space Marines have you already done, can you go true the list, with the next one, Eon?

Steve from Play On Tabletop recently had alot of success in a tournament with Imperial Fists Detachment, he said that the rule makes you think you wanna sit still but he actually uses the rules to move alot and then strategically sit still to hit extra hard.

Great mini! I’d like to see one of the chapters from the Badab war; specifically, the Marines Errant. It would be a fun conversion, you could build a boarding shield and/or a spaceships corridors as a base. It would be a fun challenge for you to try a metallic paint scheme. Love your videos.

Intercessors, Heavy Intercessors, Eliminators, Eradicators, Gladiator Lancers, and Hellblasters all have the heavy key word on their key weapons and is enough units to build an entire army around. Oath of moment the target that your units you plan on moving are going to attack, and then stationary guys get their +1 to wound and the movement guys get +1 to wound on their target (This of course is new as of Mid December with the most recent dataslate) I find that Intercessors, with a S4 gun, being able to wound anything from a Rhino to a Land Raider to an Astraeus tank on a 5 lets the Anvil Siege Force chip damage literally anything to death.

I think a fun chapter for the next video for both background and paint scheme, would be the Mantis Warriors. One of my all time favs, technically White Scars successors, but they look so cool and are a badab war chapter. Would love to see your take on them!

Eliminators in my anvil list have been doing the emperors work. Even with the sniper, +1 to hit and wound plus dev wounds as well I think. They're really good at picking off some high value targets if they can stay in a strategic location without being targeted. I've been thinking about pairing them with a Phobos librarian for this

I've never actually tried watering down imp fist yellow, I usually just use it straight from the pot on the same pink-white priming you've done here. Might try it next time, if only to save some paint. GW contrast prices are something else... However in continuing with "there's never enough yellow!", Lamenters next please!

I'm just away to start painting some IF as my first ever marines. I can't decide if I prefer Reikland or Agrax for the shade. The Reikland boosts the warm tone whereas the Agrax makes them a little more grimy and grimdark.

I think fists look best in heavyer gear. Borrowing some gravis bits to use on tacticus, and especialy older marks like mk3, devastator backpacks, some of the grilled heads like the ones on Ven dreads, and so on push them quite a long way aesthetically. mk6 helmets and pads can work to, tho thats a weirder case.

I think you should have used a darker pink, i really like to see those dark dark shadows in the under areas. Also, a plain head is okay every now amd then. But despite my preferences that is a wonderfully painted Fist!

Use blue or even green instead of pink for a cooler yellow as opposed to the warmer that pink gives. Good for high vis yellow

Weirdly, I like this detachment with Blood Angels. The Librarian Dreadnought can blink slow things like 10 man blocks of Terminators or Heavy Intercessors around. They won't get their bonus on that turn, but it's hard to shift bricks like that, so they get to hit hard on their next turns.

I’m all for bringing Alpha Legion into a plotline for current setting 40k, especially an antagonist story to pair with a loyalist primarch return. A man can only dream though, it will be years if it even happens.

The now classic Imperial Fist on yellow have grown on me since I knew it was intentional from them. Nevertheless, I pretty much prefer them on the Mark II Crusade power armor: dark gray with black metallic accents, yellow right shoulder and arm with white company symbols, yellow fist with yellow ring on left shoulder, and a yellow stripe on top of the red lenses helmet. Something about that color pattern looks very imposing and industrial and it fits them like a glove.

You should paint one of these chapters next: Black Dragons, overactive Ossmodula (bone growth gene seed organ) causes bone spikes and horns, which they cover in metal. Salamander Successors from 21st cursed founding Storm Giants, generally stronger (and potentially taller) than the average Marine because of overactive Biscopea (muscle growth gene seed organ). Possible Salamander Successors. Carcharodons, shark themed marines that enjoy lightning claws and chain bladed weapons. Possibly have the largest (definitely most terrifying) Chapter master. Possible Raven Guard Successors.

Im not sure where i read this, but the fist of Dorn was a recent retcon. If i remember correctly both of his power fists where being held by the chapter as they were the only thing they could recover. However, now its just a single power fist, so i too believe our beloved lord shall return
