Paul, that's the best presentation on the EOS I have seen. You have spoken from your experience of success with the EOS in your own organization. There's nothing better than hearing about any system and tools from someone who has actually deployed the system and the tools and achieved results. Congratulations, Paul! I laud your excellent presentation skills.

I am right where you were with your business. 17 years and I ready to break the ceiling this was the best compilation of the information provided online apart from the book itself obviously. Thank you very much for this.

Thanks so much for the whirlwind Paul, I had a client looking for an OBM/Integrator having been using the EOS system and on his referral have been listening to Traction. I see this as a tool that will help so many of my clients focus on what's important and the building blocks a successful business is built on (building blocks so often missing). Thank you, Justine

This presentation is one of the most efficient and informative looks at this model on the web. The L 10 portion is the best I have ever seen. Nice work!

Great summary of EOS! What are the 8 questions you should be asking once a quarter? I didn't catch that...
@GarikTate4 жыл бұрын
They weren't 8 questions per quarter. They were just 8 questions period. And they were the 8 points found in the V/TO document. Hope this helps.

The "8 Questions" help communicate your Vision - the 'big picture' of your business and your plans. You document these on the VTO (Vision/Traction Organizer document) The 8 Qestions - What are the: 1) Core Values 2) Core Focus 3) 10-Year Target 4) Marketing Strategy 5) 3-Year Picture 6) 1-Year Plan 7) Quarterly Rocks 8) Issues

Does this work for a private financial institution?
@paullevering58932 жыл бұрын
Yes. Check out the book: Traction by Gino Wickman. He describes the target market as any entrepreneurial company with 10-250 employees.

I have that book just haven't read it yet..I'm new to the leadership team as of mid March of this year and last week when I was out with COVID, the others un- unanimous ly made a decision to make changes in my department without discussion or collaboration and the majority of the team memberz were not in favor. I'm confused and upset that I was just blindsighted and now expected to just be okay with it after all the effort and work I put into developing my team (which is now going to be divided) to trust me and each other and feel comfortable after so many management changes prior to gaining this seat. I'm not sure if the book will help but I understood that any subjects would be discussed and voted on and that was not the case. Don't know what to do or where my boundaries are since we had an employee from my team leave and one on vacation this week so it just leaves one employee to work with the whole week and I'm expected to ignore or step aside ? I'm customer service and have the most customer experience and fear our customer service is going to go down, way down. What should I do?

@@eunicelopez8460 I don’t know the specifics, but if you are accountable for the department, it doesn’t sound healthy for others to make changes without your involvement. From the book “Five Dysfunctions of a Team”, you should have the opportunity to discuss (have healthy conflict) so you can have commitment. How can you commit to something you didn’t have an opportunity to discuss? The Integrator has the right to make final decisions, but a healthy team creates the opportunity for conflict. Again, I don’t know the details and my comments are general.

Will EOS work for a not for profit organization?
@paullevering58934 жыл бұрын
It depends. EOS works where you can hold people accountable. One nonprofit I worked with was staffed with volunteers and as soon as we started to hold some people accountable, they stopped volunteering... Another nonprofit I worked with had very dedicated, accountable people and it worked great.
