@@bcb2555 just saw them in June of 2021. If TS is 66, I must be 60. Didn't feel like it. Felt like when I was a high-school senior in 79, and they were on the top of the music world. Tommy, JY, Chuck and all the rest are still giving more than you paid for.

Can't believe people actually expect bands that are 35 plus years old to be completely intact and if they are not, well, let's trash them for having the nerve to continue. This was the coolest video I've seen in awhile. Great that these kids got to hear a superb rock band. They played great as well and props the their director for making it happen.

If more of the big named bands were doing this there is no stopping music in schools . Parents would DEMAND Music in schools . Thank you Styx ....

@@mickeygarlock4611 "today's music is great" - which I'm interpreting as "popular music", NOT indie bands/artists, which are ALWAYS better than the mainstream.... so.... "today's POP music is great"? Demonstrably false in dozens of ways: No lyrical diversity - the vocabulary of pop music is measurably thin No dynamic range between instruments/tracks -- everything is maxed out all the time Driven solely by money, not artistry Formulaic with no risks taken and on and on and on and on... I don't include rap, because that's poetry, not music. Not a dig against rap at all... it's a different medium.

Chicago boys still going strong. Tommy Shaws voice sounds the same as it did back in the 70's. Even without the heroin. Styx is one of the greatest bands ever. Great post though drooling doesn't come to mind when I think of Tommy Shaw. Ish bad image.
