That comes off as sexist. Why care who does the backing vocals? In their prime, Toto's members hit really high notes and if they find women who have a fitting vocal style and range then why not? Preferring only men is just straight up halving your choices of vocalists.
@MichaelHolmgaard5 жыл бұрын
@@RoshinrajRavi It's not sexist, it's a matter of taste. Men and women have very different voices. Men have more volume, while women have a higher register over their chest voice. So there is a big difference between male and female backing vocals, and I prefer the male voices in Toto, as they used those in the studio recordings as well. Steve Porcaro actually said the same in an interview not too long ago....

❤🥹 from the synthesizer solo, to Steve’s iconic 1st solo to Paich’s Piano to Steve’s out of this world 2nd solo. This performance is one for the ages.

what a killer solo from Steve, he is such a fantastic guitar player. his timings, accuracy, bendings, speed, I even like his shredding allthough I hate shredding. btw his guitar sound is always different and always fits perfectly to the song.

straight up live rock. they are some of the greatest writers of modern music on planet earth. Lukather, Williams, Paich. people will watch this for decades and try to repeat it. Good luck with that. The jazz time signatures at the end are unbelievable. I've never seen anyone pull that off on stage. David Paich has an unbelievable talent with that. He was raised jazz. Sad that Jeff Porcaro didn't make to this point. He was an amazing session drummer

As much as I dig the way Simon plays I have to say that Shannon is the guy that can really light up these songs. He shines on this whole show. Of course we all know how Jeff would slay this.

Kids at 3:43 reminded me of 1992, when my parents took me and my brother to the 60.000 people packed stadium of the Genesis - "We cant dance" tour. I was 12 years old and I loved every second so much! You ll never forget the music & moments like these in your life! The video wall and lighting in Domino, etc. The ultimate would have been to see Pink Floyd live in 1994.
