What guidance reference is used for the Near Critical Path having 2 to 5 days of float?
@PlanningengineerNet2 жыл бұрын
This is a good question. My reference is my practical experience. Nothing else. And i mean here that the activity is properly linked with logical relationships, you should not fake any relationships to make the activity looks near critical. In another words, if the activity is really important (long lead, big quantity, need special expertise) by logic it should be near critical or you can say with a less total float.

Salam hany sir. One thing that in case we submit shop drawings not in baseline time means to say we delay the shop drawings and consultant also delay the approval as per contract duration. Now at this stage how we will calculate the delay from consultant or we have no right to claim eot. For example according to BL program we must submitted the shop drawing on 1st of September 2022 but we submitted on 20th of September and consultant aprproval must be with in 5 days means to say 25th of September but consultant response is on 30th of September 2022 so in this case how we can claim 5 days . Kindly explain plez

Thanks Hany Sir. One doubt... Generally no drawing gets approved in first submission, should we consider revision duration in our schedule while preparing baseline?

But the procurement activity should also be placed in between the shop approval and the fabrication activity. Coz procurement activity is itself a long lead activity.
