I don't do glamour. This video was focused on a specific fogging problem and which design was easier to work through that problem. You can't just wipe fogging because it comes right back. Putting spit on the glass helps, but you end up with annoying streeks that you'll then want to clean. When you shoot in all weather like I do, you run into a different set of problems than people that only shoot on nice days. I offer a different perspective.

Thank u for your cold environment videos as I'm in a cold environment state in the United States.

The guns and ammo are cold stored throughout the whole winter. So when its negative 10 degrees, that's what temperature they are. It's been like this for years. You can go back to some of the older winter training videos as well.

5.56 blowback, what does that mean?
@absolutegunrights307917 күн бұрын
Two of the guns on the table are gas operated 5.56. 3 of the guns on the table which have the Holosun 510c are direct blowback. Not gas operated. The bolt does not lock closed. The recoil alone pushes the bolt back. Since there is no locking and unlocking to slow down the bolt, it comes back a lot more violently. I have been able to slow them down with heavy 8 oz buffer weights to keep hammer pins and extractors from breaking frequently.

For a "GUCCI AR" It should have all ambi controls. Anyways thank you and I'd take he 510c over the EOTech as well.

More money doesn't always mean better 🙂 This one has ambidextrous bolt catch... but you can not use it to lock the gun back. You can only release it. I mentioned it in another video. In practice, a few times when I went to hit the bolt release I hit the magazine release instead. The two are close to each other. The more I work with $2,000 guns, the more I appreciate $500 Palmettos 🙂

you should check out the aems. Closed emitter is the way. This video is very misinformed. the "space between" is treated and sealed so it does not get moisture inside. You may get fog on the outside but thats not a big deal. i have an eotech and many other enclosed optics including pistol optics and the inside fogging DOES NOT HAPPEN. This guys a fudd. Don't take my word for it. Do your own research outside of this dingle berry video. The 510c is awful.

I think I would jut wipe it off or go to backup sights. Thanks for the half hour video, though.
@absolutegunrights307919 күн бұрын
Wiping it off is not good enough. The fog usually comes right back. Unless the iron sights are offset, you will not be able to use them either. I did a video on using offset iron sights in the past for this reason. The best solution is usually to put some spit on the glass , which I mentioned in the video.
