Thank you for making a video. The course is amazing but the reading for me is not the best - I took the whole course using text to speech. Your voice is very different than what I am used to 😂

Why could Matt only get the 12.5k award ticket through British? and not American?

the price is always set by the airline with whom you are booking (the one you have miles with). Which can be different than the one you actually fly with. In this case, British Airways was charging 12.5k miles for the American Airlines flight (because they are partner airlines). In theory, Matt could have booked this ticket through American with AA miles but the price would likely be much higher than what was being charged by British Airways
