I spent many happy hours sitting off the end of runway 29 at Harewood in the late-1970s/late-80s - watching the Boeing 737-219s, Bristol Freighters, Fokker Friendships, Hawker Sidderley 748s and other assorted aircraft battle the nor'wester into Christchurch over the summer school holidays - when it was all paddocks out there. #planespottingiscool 🙂

Great podcast Jimbo. Yeah pajama pilots has a ring to it eh. Btw Emirates drops in here at Chch with an A380 daily. Haven't seen a Jumbo here. Which just means, I haven't seen a Jumbo here. Diverted or otherwise. Any plans for some more Lukla footage. It's 70 yrs since Sir Ed and Tenzing Norgay summited Everest. Enjoy your podcasts and usual footage. Good grief, NZ Ag pilots are real people.!! Who would have thought.? A bit of tongue in cheek there. Anyway Atb for your Oz trip mate. Until next time, cheers.
