I noticed you are trying to keep the colour grading as natural as possible in this series. But the gradient around this holy lake felt a bit off probably because we were seeing it through your sunglasses(kinda sepia) which you unconsciously replicated while editing. just a theory 😬. I was there in 2013 Nov. The lake was almost frozen. We were breathless and few ITBP guys were running on the lake as if they dont breath oxygen.. This place is just mesmerizing, a different worldm the whole sikkim is so beautiful..

Going by tourist vehicle is one thing but riding to this lake on a bike is something else altogether. It snowed the night before which made the terrain look even more mesmerising. It was the best bike ride of my life.

It was my dream to visit Sikkim and finally after 10 years i was able to go there in November 2022, and I've seen this lack and believe me i couldn't stand there more than 2 minutes because I was already out of energy because I puke at the last checkpost because of high altitude... seeing the lack infront of me from inside the car i was like this is the first time and could be last too so i gather myself and went out and the wind was so strong that i stepped three step back without my will.....the lack, indo china border, gangtok, zero point, yumthang valley and we visited many more places, and the lack was my favourite one ❤️

You might face rainy conditions during May-September so I woulf advise to wait until Autumn. Maybe September end onwards. The weather should also be good by then. If you’re looking for snowfall or some snow then spring would be the best time to enjoy the snow while still avoiding extreme cold. Hope this helps 👍🏼
