On ya Snagga, tour guiding the amount of work it takes almost takes the fun out of it hey. I know from being an active hunter then turning to a Wild Game Harvesting business out of the Gulf turns it to hard work. The only thing I can reflect of it is your always out in beautiful Country taking in something different each day of what Country dishes up to you. Well done mate. I personally miss it big time being based in Darwin now. Your a Champion Snagga enjoying life mate what you love, Good stuff Bud.

Willare Bridge Roadhouse is the servo after Roebuck Plains. Got smoked by a big Barra about 100m down from the bridge last year 🎣

Alright, Mikey, Ash, you guys are just the thing I need today to give me some perspective and distraction. Dave, I envy you your isolation right about now, cool to hear about Wyndham, I have been fascinated by your area for a while, sounds amazing... you lucky devils.

Great chat with Dave. Wyndham is certainly isolated. I have had lunch there and Derby jetty 11m tides. Places like fitzroy crossing, Gibb River Road and one arm point. Fascinating country. Broome is very much a tourist town. But would have been quieter when Dave lived there.🤠👌👍👍

He can only go up from here mate. The quality of his content is great... and constantly improving... and the fishing... well, we can all sit back and watch the amazingness transpire in his videos. Absolute wizard when it comes to Barramundi.

Hi guys, Im coming to KAB ion 1st January 2025 and wanted to know what the barra fishing is like. We plan to head over to the twins area and spend a few nights on the boat over there. If the river is up is it still good barra fishing????? Dave
@GuysintheGulfPodcast2 ай бұрын
Mate, the 1st January... need a crystal ball to work out how your trip will be. It's obviously in the heart of the wet season, so there won't be many people around. The club usually opens briefly 3 nights a week if you need a schooner... and the servo is usually open one hour a day for you to stock up on supplies... Most of the time you can usually get in and out of King Ash Bay. If you get stuck somewhere because of roads flooding, it's USUALLY for only a day or 2. Not trying to scare you off. Once you're here, if the river is in flood, you'll usually want to find cleaner water for Barra fishing. The twins, like you mentioned is a good option. I hope this helps. -Cheers, Mikey

Thanks Mikey, I thought as much. We are heading up so hopefully the twins is not too bad. Really appreciate the response mate. 👍
