The waiting must be so hard, but you keep up your spirits with grace. At least, on camera. I'm guessing there is more frustration that we don't see :)

I know right, you never know when you will need a partial box of flooring😆 My basement is full of those boxes, but you never know…

There should be a flooring drop off spot so someone could do a quilt floor

Oh, the permit delays... That's a tough one, guys, I feel for you. It's a challenge everywhere in BC at the moment. I have a project on the island at the moment, and I'm stuck arguing with the planner about our cladding thickness because they include it in their gross floor area calculations. Is this really a productive process we need to deal with in our current environment!? Remember, there's no housing crisis in Canada. We have a planning and productivity crisis. The good news is, it's actually pretty easy to fix.

It’s tricky and tangled but should be solvable. This is the low lying fruit of affordability

getting BC HYDRO to come do that work will probably be a few months wait. they are severely understaffed. ive been hearing some builders that are doing new construction have been waiting for bc hydro to hook up power for over 3 months.
