Oh Bushwick...what can we say. From the Puerto Rican flag-lined blocks, the Queen Annes on Bushwick avenue, the giant luxury living spaces, to the bars and murals on Wyckoff avenue, the neighborhood of Bushwick, Brooklyn is a mix of the old and new New York.
The area, originally inhabited by the Lenape Natives, was chartered and renamed Boswijck in 1661, meaning "neighborhood in the woods" in 17th-century Dutch.
A working class neighborhood today, #robbybrender Bushwick is home to a pretty heterogenous population. Although Bushwick is the most populous Hispanic-American community in Brooklyn (mostly Puerto Ricans, Dominicans, and other South Americans), the neighborhood is home to other longtime residents, transplants from other parts of the country, and immigrants from all over the world.
A friendly territory to Creatives, you can see the artistry bleeding through every street with murals, graffiti, music, and Bushwick's ever-growing nightlife scene.

NY is a love hate relationship. NY as a whole is a place im so thankful i was born and raised. The harshness of the city, of its people, its a metal smiths furnace that forges greatness. NewYorkers are very much different people than the norm. Even upon those who come from elsewhere and their generations grow up their of. So many vibes, so many ethnicities, so well rounded in cultures that all accumulate into people that are diverse and worldly. Not withstanding the stubborn. those few who are so deeply rooted they fear to view with broader eyes,we have those too, but overall, a newyorker can travel to any lands and understand and be understood. We always here people idolize their lands , their island, peoples who exist under a single motivation, where as New yorkers though many living on an island themselves dont even know their on an island. because their island is do diverse in peoples places, styles of living. As a state. New york has no less than 8 general styles of living. You can live in the mountains, on farms, in a metropolis, in cottage and ranch style neighborhoods, in urban neighborhoods, in beach towns with beach front properties, along great rivers, and great lakes. Fishing villages. Industrial towns. areas of vast luxury and mansions. to the ghettos that often hide a deep beauty. Old 17th and 18th century townships. Old and new lifestyles and living conditions. And brooklyn ironically being a place that contains many of which. Brooklyn a place where a guy toss a dart at a global map, and no matter where the dart lands, assured is a resturuant somewhere that will cater to that locations cuisine. Brooklyn is also a catapult. of which its stresses will indeed burn you out over time. And much of the solution is to move on. To take all that its given you for you to use it on your journeys abroad. Never loosing your roots.

Thanks for the fly over. Suggestion: the editing is too abrupt. Just as you're enjoying the pan of the buildings ... boom ... next scene. Again and again. Irritating. Try a second or so overlap for a smoother transition. Nice use of the elevated trains.
