ആംഗികാഭിനയത്തിൽ മുഖ്യസ്ഥാനം കൈമുദ്രകളുടെ പ്രയോഗത്തിനാണ്‌ കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നത്.അടവുകളിലും മുദ്രകൾ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്.
ഓരോ മുദ്രയുടേയും ആകൃതി നോക്കിയാണ്‌ പേരു കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നത്. പേരു സൂചിപ്പിക്കുന്ന വസ്തുവിനെ കാണിക്കാൻ മാത്രമല്ല ഒരു മുദ്ര ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നത്.മറ്റനേകം വസ്തുക്കളെയും ചലനങ്ങളേയും അതേ മുദ്ര കൊണ്ട് കാണിക്കാവുന്നതാണ്‌.
The use of hand gestures is given prominence in gestures.
Each mudra is named according to its shape. A mudra is used not only to show the object of the name. Many other objects and movements can be shown with the same Mudra.
