Great episode! Actually definitely my favorite so far. We just happened to be watching this while visiting in Dayton OH., which is just a hop skip and a jump away and we were so intrigued by all your accolades that we changed some plans around to see if we could give some love to 'The COV', and we're very glad we did! We even checked out a random open house which was pretty cool. Covington is definitely now on our short "I'd Rather be There" list.

James you kinda got it right. But Bourbon doesn't need to be made in Kentucky. It just needs to be made in the USA people confuse that it must be made in KY because it mostly does something like 95% and the most likely origin is from KY. To be bourbon, whiskey must be (1) made and aged in the U.S., (2) made from a mash that is at least 51% corn, (3) distilled to a proof no higher than 159 (79.5 percent ABV), (4) aged in NEW charred oak barrels and put into the barrel at no more than 125 proof (“entry proof”), and (5) bottled at no less than 80 proof, with no coloring or flavoring added. The bottle you bought from Second Sight is American whiskey not Scotch because Scotch must come from Scotland. Anyway it was a fun episode and looking forward to seeing you back in town.

AHHH. The general idea of what is bourbon and what isn’t was told to me when I was a bartender 20 years ago (lots of brain cells fried between here and there 😂) but thanks for breaking down the composition of one of America’s greatest exports!

In Newport, RI if you own a Historical home and you want to make Exterior alterations within the Newport Local Historic District must be reviewed and approved by the HDC or Historic Preservation Planner prior to any work beginning. Newport, RI also does not have any drive thru restaurants. Neighboring Middletown has a drive up Liquor Store. No need to get out of your car just drive up tell them you want a case of Heiney's and off you go. Phil is correct according to Google. Members of the Bloods street gang often avoid using words that begin with the letter “C.” This practice is rooted in gang culture and serves as a way to distinguish themselves from their rivals, the Crips. Since the letter “C” is associated with the Crips, Bloods replace it with the letter “B.” We have the Providence Bruins(AHL) that play in Providence where tickets are about that price as well. Sometimes you can catch a Boston Bruins play there if they are recovering from an injury. Pickle juice is good to brine your chicken in, try it. Just soak your chicken in it for at least 2 hours before you cook it, it will make your chicken moist and juicy.
