Yeah the botswana boarder gate discouraged some of us to travel to botswana. We ended up traveling to Lesotho which it was much easier at the gate. Did you guys have to put your feet in their chemical water at botswana boarder gate ?

The line wasn't too long for private cars though, we spent about an hour at the border. Yes we had to sanitize all shoes, including ones we were not wearing 😅

The Tlokweng border is better in terms of traffic. Martins Drift can be a nightmare. Would love to know more about your Lesotho trip

Hi Tshokolo, yes that's correct. You exit the country you're in then proceed to the other side of the border to enter the country you're going to

Hey friends how much petrol did you roughly spend going to Gaborone n coming back to SA.

Hi friend, we traveled from Midrand to Maun, then to Gaborone via Ghanzi. We also drove around quite a bit in Gabs. We filled up 7 times in total for the whole trip which costed us about R4,900 excluding bank charges for swiping in a different country 😊 I hope this answers your question

Hi Phillimon, we were not avoiding it but the plan was to tour or see/cover as much of Botswana as possible. So we went to Maun first and finished off with Gabs
