when I tell a patient that this necrotic tooth needs RCT Almost always they say but the tooth doesn't hurt, I just want a filling How do you convince this patient to accept your treatment?

Hi @Ahmad-lr1fc, maybe show them x-rays, pics (intraoral camera, etc.) to provide more insight for the patient. Generally speaking, dental problems that are there that the patient can't feel (or see), such as perio or a necrotic tooth, are more difficult for the patient to understand. Nonetheless, it's important to bake time into your presentation to a) ensure they understand what you're explaining and b) they understand the potential consequences of not treating the condition.
