Makoti is soo pretty..and I like that she felt like she was the prize.The marriage is gonna last forever becos for any relationship to work,the woman mustnt feel like the man is doing her a favour. The woman must love the man( and makoti is blatantly inlove ),she must respect the man( and makoti respects her man) and she must be confident in herself and know that she is the prize and this is not arrogance at all( and Makoti ticks this box) The minute a woman doesnt feel like the prize,she becomes too pleasing to the man and he gets bored with her. Wouldn't advice women to "shoot their shot", because not every gent would take it well, some would perceive it as desperate or masculine. Black dudes are also usually very direct, if they want a woman, they approach -- it's slightly different with the White gents. So, I disagree that more Black women would be married if they pursued men. Black men already pursue, the marriage part is a different story though. If it worked for this couple, good for them, but it's not a one-size-fits-all.

@@_theerealnono_7694 you don't have to agree with me in order for it to be true, you can simply look at the stats on who's the least married(black ladies) and also check social media on who really prioritises marriage and relationships, we even call it m'jolo which for me is play. Most if not all my white high school buddies got married in their mid 20's whilst we thought they were crazy but they were raised to create families. I'm not saying this to be malicious just pointing out that other races are intentional about finding partners and getting married,, us on the other hand love to say "I don't need a man, I'm educated and I can do it all by myself". You can hear the story of the lady that she wanted dude, was intentional about him and she got dude, she didn't pretend like she doesn't like him and he needs to go these extra miles. Few of our women are this intentional...
