You took the right path on the Mogra Bridge, you just missed the Gajoghanta more. and there is only one railway crossing in Kalna, STKK road has a lot of bumpers which is the main issue otherwise the road is very nice.

STKK road also has animals like cows and goats crossing the road at many places. Atlesst that was my experience last time

Subhasis ! The NH12 alias NH34 is now superb and takes lesser time. The only location to beware of is Ranaghat. Rest all is now 90 kmph highway. I am using that regularly.

Thanks! Not sure which more you're referring to. We went straight towards NH-34 after crossing ishwar Gupta setu. No turns.
