Love the narration, love Clive the downhearted tree, and love Quincy the loafing woofer! The ‘gargoyles’ you found are actually grotesques. Gargoyles have water spouts to carry rainwater away from roofs whilst grotesques look similar but have no function, beyond decoration that is. Looking forward to seeing the renovation as it progresses. What an exciting project - to breathe new life into this neglected but gorgeous property.
