Scarborough Fisheries The fish i got was a whale 🐋 by non coastal standards and the chips were plentiful. I live a good few miles away but each time I'm passing i feel the need to call in for this magnificent bounty.

MR Ts : 400 Bradford Rd, Batley WF17 5LZ fantastic spot! The parmesan chicken dish is an absolute delight-flavourful, tender, and cooked to perfection. The ambiance is cozy, and the service is top-notch. Highly recommend trying it out!

I've been Holmfirth loads usually go to compos fish shop but unfortunately there cooked in oil and are up and down depends on day and time you go there, but I've got address of this place so definitely be trying here ❤

I moved to Holmfirth a few months back and I witnessed a customer in one chip shop get told off because she wanted her salt on before the vinegar. The owner of the shop informed her “we do it properly here which means the vinegar goes on first so the salt sticks to it otherwise the vinegar just washes the salt away. Reply
