Rafe Maxwell it’s not brilliant for everything - sand is great for draining water and it’s easy to dig with but it’s fragile and difficult to maintain. We don’t claim to have the best dirt, just stoked to have a spot to call our own. If we were digging in manure we’d still be happy I reckon! :)

I found some jumps in the woods near my dads home only a simple loop with like 4 or 5 ramps. they are all small but I want to dig out a nice bowl and then go ahead and use that dirt for more ramps. Is it possible to dig a bowl? I am 15 and havent done this before but Idk if it is even possible.

Sick i wish i lived in the UK to Edit:I am building dirt jumps kinda because of yall but it is all flat and I mean 0.00ft elevation change. So I build a 10’ wood role in and that worked out well but there is a 70 degree hip mid way thru the run followed by a berm. And no matter how much i change it, there is no speed after. Yall are going so fast by the end of the line. How?

Cyrus Dorsey thanks dude! Stoked you’re building- but yeah hips and berms are difficult to get right. I get things wrong all the time- it’s part of building trails. Have you got someone to film you hit your jumps? Sometimes that really helps identify where things go wrong. Keep going and you’ll get there dude.
