im going to try to start recording more tyros videos. right now our house is going though some construction and the basement where i have all my audio stuff is kind of a mess, I really hope to have my studio start coming back together soon again so i can do more of these

I'm watching Tyros videos to learn about psr-s770, which also has eq and comp settings on mic input. I think similar principles work. I want to use it to record 🎷. I've made up my mind, after having a psr-e443 for a month and loving it (but with no step-editing of midi recordings time to upgrade).

+girl in a gale Keep in mind, connecting a laptop is pretty easy these days for midi sequencing, and really the easiest way to do it. Even on the tyros with the editing features it does have, it can be a pain on bigger projects.

+The Johnny O Show yes I realize the arranger keyboards have severe limitations. The psr-s770 offers step editing of midi recordings and that's enough benefit over the psr-e443 to persuade me to spend nearly 4 times as much on a psr-770. If audio recording is good then that will be a welcome benefit. I love the psr-443, such a giving musical instrument.

Saxophone sounds great through s770 with teverb and eq. That quality records perfectly in the s770. I'm very pleased with it.

+The Johnny O Show yes, I've already made 11 songs on it, which I'm now playing along with saxophone to establish the structures and melodic themes in my fingers. I have the s770 songs on my phone and today I went saxophone busking using those songs as backing.

Hi there, how did you get that echo sound? I don't really know what it's called but repeats continously and i like it. Is it vibration, depth, delay echo, or attack? , I would love to know how to add it to a jazz guitar 🎸 voice on my Tyros 3. Also how can i pitch bend on bass guitar when im using split on tyros 3?

Also I purchased KRK Rocket 6 pair speaker. Woukd I connect to tyros will make difference please

if your going to be editing your tracks on your computer then you want to use good monitoring speakers on your computer beings on hte tyros you will be having all your settings flat. if your recoding on the tyros and want that to be your final recording then you would have the monitoring speakers on the tyros so you can hear best what your recording

Wonderful instructions how to use oppressor and EQ I got tyros 4 now 11 years but I play hardly bcs of time issue. I am busy AE doctor. I got focusrite interface recording too. My Q? How better is to record through tyros 4 as compared to focusrite. I have tried none of device for recording. Please reply

so recoding with the tyros using its build it recorder will be completely a digital recording. using the focusrite will be taking the analog out and converting ti back to digital so there will be some loss. However if you use software like cubase or even garage band, etc you will he able able to record each track separately and have more than 2 tracks, you would in that case set everything on the tyros as flat and not use the compressor and you would do all those setting in your software your running on your computer. Even though you would be losing some going from analog to digital, i feel you would gain in what you would be able to do, because you can adjust the eq and compressor after its recorded and make a lot of adjustments at deferent parts of the track you cant do if you record on the tyros.

When recording.. speaker mode has to be off correct..? Or lower the volume and listen from headphones.

If your using a microphone yes, also the vocoder stuff does very poorly as well it will pick up your speakers. but if your just recording internal sounds on the keyboard and your mic is turned off then you don't need to use headphones
