Lotta mental gymnastics and projections. Somehow he thinks if he repeats his thesis that suddenly the room would agree. Thing is, de Rosa only had gigs through other brands and people, not himself. He piggy backed on Opie and ant, and was bill burrs roommate and tagged along with bill to meet all these cellar crowd including Quinn. So he would tour and get exposure through other comics rather than his own sustainable following nor is he known enough to go on road and be known. Normand, Morrill, Schultz, Gillis, list are the five major guys self promoting and creating own followings through newer very strategic approach to content and comedy, and they not only need and want to work out best possible material but they are also able to go on road with a growing following. The top guys like Rogan, burr, Seinfeld, Louis ck, attell, and others promote these guys too, and comics and people genuinely respect them as good stand-up comedians doing something new. De Rosa is nowhere close to their level but acts like he's still circa 2006 Opie and ant and a vet but he's bottom Barrell to other comics top comedians as well as stand-up fans too comedians. Right now, those five guys are the real deal new dudes on the scene. As such, they carry that weight and want that weight, they all know that they keep growing and growing and have a higher standard of work so they need to keep doing their chops. De Rosa is just jealous, and he knows he's not passionate anymore and that bugs him.

this was awesome. any guy should be happy to have a good group of guys to support you and keep you in check as Mark has. you can tell Mark is a genuine and good person by the company he keeps and how no one ever has a bad word to say on him. this was a nice sentiment for a friend during his dwindling days of being able to slay random strange and enjoy his life. just kidding.. kinda. this type of brotherhood and comradery amongst guys. it’s important

It shows you how great Dave is. The guys just want to share their Dave Attell story.
