I kinda feel the same. I don’t know if reactionary podcasts really work because the listener isn’t viewing what’s being discussed. And with it being sooo long ago, it’ll be blurry to most. I think the aim should’ve been studio set up watching each episode on film and reacting, with the podcast audio available. Rather than the podcast being the feature and YT being the after thought.

I will say, I always loved Kristins major confidence as a teenager, she seemed to get it early on lol. I don’t think they understand how nostalgic this show was, and how amazing in time it was for a lot of us born in 1988-1992. It was a time before social media, a time that was just so pure and authentic, and not all about being on your phones 24/7 (the outfits, the light makeup, the sidekicks, MySpace, TRL). A lot of us go back and watch it, to remember that time - so grateful to had been a teenager during that time!

yes! my sister was born in 92 and me in 94. I watched this show because of her (and probably grew up alittle faster..oops haha). But Laguna Beach started my love for MTV shows, The OC, myspace, Hollister etc.

Right at that time he said he didn’t want to marry me so I decided I wasn’t going to follow him around like a puppy, I was going to be like Kristin. I went on dates with 2 other guys. @@rrac04 LC and Stephen went to College but LC moved home second semester. Jessica and Jason were huge drama. They broke up and he started dating Alex M and LC. He ended up kissing Jessica in front of LC at the fashion show. Kristin was hooking up with Talan but Stephen was trying to win her back. They went to dinner together for Valentines Day. There were so many trips to Mammoth, Cabo, etc. They graduated and moved away to college. The season had better storylines IMO and just flowed better. Kristin was also a stronger narrator than LC.

Please, please please have Kristen and Jessica on together!!! I loved Jessica, and her and Kristen's friendship! Jessica sometimes seemed to have confidence and self eateem issues, which was sad, but so relatable ( at least for my hs experience,) plus, Jessica brought an earnestness and sincerity to the show. A Jessica and Kristen reunion, both now being mother's in adulthood, would be so amazing!!

@@itscmznews180 Yes! In 2020, I watched a Zoom interview on YT with Jessica; she said she gets a little embarrassed rewatching, bc she was so insecure on the show. Hopefully where these episodes are not real-time, reactions, it may be more enticing for her to make an appearance...I loved Laguna Beach, The Hills, and New Beginnings...I just wanted to shake Jessica and say, "Jason is a dog! You deserve better!" Lol I bet she is an wonderful mother!

I really love Kristin, she is so real and has grown up so much. As a teen I didn't think she was likable but now as an adult in my 30's I can totally see why she felt the way she did.

I just got done watching Luguna Beach. I remember when it first came on. I had dropped out of school and had my 1st kid. I was working nights and was able to watch it when it first aired and I felt like I was one of the girls and when Lauren graduated I felt like I graduated too. So rewatching it all these years later brought back my younger years ❤

Stephen will not own his mistakes, or take responsibility for his part in anything. Kristin is exactly who she is and knows who she is. Strong, confident, intelligent, responsible, takes ownership and of course she is gorgeous. I noticed she also waits for him to finish to speak which is great but he is quite argumentative. Cant wait to see how he tries to deflect all the times he called girls on the shows slurs...."I was drunk" "Thats not how it went down" something like that. I hope not but thats the energy he gives. Love this series, wish Lauren would talk about what happened too since its what made her career. Kristin is the best. :)

Even the new Hill’s NB… Lol. And it left me like, “They need to get everyone together to discuss ALL the drama and explain what happened behind stuff. UGH! So glad you guys did this! Glad to see this on YT. The scenery, the homes, and the soundtrack caught my attention at first as I was way too old to be watching LB when it came out. I continued to watch out of curiosity to see what kids in this generation were experiencing and how much of this show was real. I really enjoyed the show. It was a good way to escape being an adult for a bit. Class of '96 here LOL. Great job Stephen and Kristin it's cool hearing the behind the scenes production. I noticed production messed up when Steven took Lauren on a date in an SUV but drove away "the next morning" in a pick up truck.
