Hi mate, I really love your video and watched it a second time. You have a very beautiful family, and I really enjoy seeing you being so authentic. I'm setting up my canopy for my new Cannon L and know I have a loading capacity of over 1000 kg. If I'm not towing anything, do you think the chassis will bend if I put 700 kg in the back and 300 kg in the front, still staying within the loading limit with the stock suspension? I'm running out of money and can't afford to upgrade my suspension at the moment.

@calvinshum8019 that's awesome! Thanks for watching! The ute has a 1Tonne payload but I've seen a few around that are fully loaded and the rear springs are almost backwards haha stock suspension is comfortable but it's not super strong. But saying that.... it will probably be fine. I'd just do it and see how you go Cheers

@@wheelsbytheocean Thanks for your reply. It's really funny that when I first got my Cannon, I always thought I had plenty of load capacity and never needed to worry about being overweight. I never realized that the truck comes with such a high load capacity but insufficient suspension. It's really easy to keep spending money on my car, but I really love my Cannon. Cannon should give you a free Cannon Alpha and Tank 500, or just make me the national manager, as you've probably helped Cannon sell their utes more than any of their salespeople.

Hey guys love your videos keep having fun I have a question for Jordan mate do you know anyone that has a cannon ute and has had trouble with fuel pumps mine did one at 10000 klms

Hey mate! Yeah my one crapped a fuel pump haha. It had an open circuit somewhere so when ever fuel was a bit low the car wouldn't start. Fuel pump in tank replaced and all sorted now. What issues did you have?

Hey Jordan a quick question mate do you reckon I need to upgrade my suspension on my Cannon to do the Gibb River road or do you think the factory suspension will suffice and are bash plates essential

@stevewainwright2474 hey mate! Some of the river crossings can be pretty deep. A lift would be handy to have. But heaps of stock Ute's go through. My mate just took his completely stock triton without a snorkle and was fine. A bash plate for the fuel filter is a great idea. Savage Tech do these. So I guess my answer is A stock Cannon will do the Gibb no problems 😀

@@wheelsbytheocean no mate storing the van at Birdwood down Station just south of the gibb river road and using a roof top camper. On a side note we are going up with Lil and Bill who you would have met when you stayed at Willowbro0k farm stay caravan park in Gingin as they were the managers back then, Sadly the park is closed atm as its up for sale

@@wheelsbytheocean I had a snorkel put on by the guys that do savage over here and got a price of a 2 inch lift from them which was pretty reasonable at $2200 my biggest issue is a lift makes my underground parking at work difficult lol

They recon the guys at opposite lock rockhampton wired up my light bar and UHF wrong so now I'm on the Gold Coast I've been trying to ring savage tech to see if they can wire it up properly for me but can't through to them there phone just rings out

Mate flick them an email. Apparently that's the best was to contact them.... I've heard Byron at Savage tech has been hiring some new guys
