Sir I would like to present an interesting incident One of the latest and most notable cruiser of Germany named Blücher was among the invading party that invaded the Oslo fjords at night. Norwegian officer at the Oslo fortress Birger Eriksen had to make one of the toughest decisions, whether to attack the incoming ship or not. Because it was too dark and there was no flag on the ship so he couldn't make out if it was a British ship coming to assist them or a German ship coming for an invasion. Nevertheless he ordered the fortress batteries to open fire. Two huge cannons opened fire and the German Blücher was quickly engulfed in flames. They then shot two torpedoes and the German pride Blücher sank.

Another fun fact is that the cannon batteries that opened fire were made in the famous German Krupp factory and were from WWI era
