Welcome back another episode at The CEO Club. In today's episode we have a very special guest Ishfaq Farooq the owner of MyLahore. We are proud to be bringing you the first ever exclusive face to face podcast Ishfaq has ever done.
MyLahore was started in Bradford in 2002 from humble beginnings by two families and is still a family business .
Our Key not-so-secret ingredient has always been our family spirit of togetherness.
Fast forward to today MyLahore is an iconic multi-site restaurant and catering business that employs over 450 people from around 27 different nationalities.
MyLahore originally is rooted in Yorkshire (Bradford) in a world of small kitchens yet huge hearts, where families tuck into everything from samosas to shepards pie, and karahis to cornflake tarts - it’s a very British Asian story that just had to be shared!
This is a super powerful episode where we discussed a range of topics including mental health, the secrets to building a successful brand, the importance of charity work, the impressive impact MyLahore has had on the local community and the struggles Ishfaq and his family faced growing their successful brand from very humble beginnings. The episode is filled with lots of really useful gems that you can implement into your life today.
