My biggest complain of all the youtube coaches was they all explain the physiology, but ne of them show how it "sounds" with low or high larynx. But this video shows it! Thank you. This is how to teach singing.

I wonder if it's possible to have a larynx that's kinda stuck? I put a finger on my and it goes up when swallowing but barely goes down when yawning or singing low even and I can't seem to get it to go lower either.

Thank you so much for this! I heard from so many people that the way I was singing was wrong (I sing soprano) and that my larynx shouldn’t move, even at the very top or bottom of my register. So nice to know I was doing it right all along!

Question: Is the larynx position is related with the compression, or the consistency of the sound? in other works to keep even the loudness of the sound. (not having that inconsistent or uneven sound between the lower or higher notes).
@michaeljeffmamigo9704 жыл бұрын
I badly needed this. Someone just told me "Your voice is not that beautiful" because I sing in a neutral larynx all the time. I got sad and looked for videos about style so I can sing in a beautiful tone that can please other people's ears. Thank you so much! May God bless you all the time!

While this simple concept works fine and exercises function fine in speaking range, my brain sees a fork in the road around C4... it has to decide whether to push down and sing higher notes too low position, OR it naturally starts riding upward as pitch’s go up. Can’t find that middle ground above that pitch.
