Very true....so in the end besides (hopefully) the help of good teachers we have to find out how to be our own best teacher. Especially making Breaks whenever necassary and find ecerxises which are more valuable for us than others. For me as a comeback Player after 30 years of break after finishing my studies thanks to all these great channels like yours with so valuable Information I find myself after practising again for 7 month in a better shape then I was at the end of my studies and it still goes on every day a little bit . It seems to be all about the how and the why to practise certain things , stick to it and to always strive for a good feeling and a nice Sound especially first in piano dynamics. Thanks for all of your great information👍👍👍

I've just returned to music after almost two decades completely outside it & finding it really interesting to notice & reconsider the culture that seems to go along with trumpet playing (and music in general). I'm glad I'm old enough this time round to realise that I can decide my own style, approach & goals. It's really good to see someone at your level asking the kinds of questions you are & opening the door to new conversations about the pressures created by our musical cultures.

I have suffered from dystonia for a long time and could not get rid of it. I'm sure it's an emotional issue more than a trumpet issue, but I can't find the way and I've never found anyone who can help me. It's very interesting what you say and do in your videos and especially the way you say it. I would like to master your language to be able to contact and work with you through this trauma. Congratulations Master. Thank you
