Fun fact, Bear McCreary actually worked out how to get a 7 digit sequence out of his arrangement of All Along the Watchtower I will make one point about deus ex machina: Deus ex machina is explicitly something thrown in suddenly with no explanation, however God or God's have been part of the series from the beginning so I don't know that it deus ex machina really applies :)

For me personally I love the finale "Daybreak" of Battlestar Galactica. For a show that asks tough moral questions and wrapping up the mythology I think the finale does a damn near great job with it. And personally the elements that aren't explained like Angel Starbuck or the lack of addressing "GOD" here and keeping it vague kind of don't bug me coz I feel that is more intentional than a flaw in the story. My rating of Daybreak(Part 1 ,2 and 3): 9/10.
