Just watched your whole Series! Great Job! Funny to see how easy it is to register a engine swap in your country ^^ greetings from highly restricted germany xD
@endakhudson7 ай бұрын
Thanks mate! The car was already engineered, however still needed to go over the pits. First time I took it over the pits it was far more vigorous but it also helps when everything else is new and shiny!

Nice truck. Pity it doesn't have the Rover V8 sound, but understand why the TDi went in. The steering wheel seems to sit at 90 degree form where it should ... that'd drive me spare!

First real drive, small things like that were ironed out after registration

Well done and congrats on the build and outcome. I have really enjoyed your journey and wish you the best for your upcoming adventures. You have really done a great job on the build and should be very proud of your achievements. Take care and enjoy the ride.

Well done mate, I’ve been following the build. Would like to have checked it out when you were in Melbourne. You’ve done a great job. I trust you had fun on your recent test run down south. The only thing I’d change if it were mine: 1: Straighten the steering wheel. 2. I’d have painted the flares and the C pillar in Black. Cheers, Brett

No matter how much work you have done on the car test time is never easy on the nerves, that is one well built truck, from someone who has been rebuilding bikes and cars in his spare time for over 50 years and that includes 2 RRC for the last 30 years well done.

Congrats! Sensational build . . . best looking RRC for sure! Thanks for taking us along with your work. Look forward to see what adventures you take it on! (I’ve no muffler on the 300Tdi in my Series 3 so the soundtrack to this video was just like being out for a drive in my truck.)

He did. Body lift was engineered previously in NSW where I had it engineered so he was happy with that.

Nice job! Love the colour. The inspector was probably more thorough because he was being videotaped. However, it’s good to know if anything is amiss before it causes a drama. 👍🏻🙏🦘
