What a beauty! That color combination is absolute stelar. The brake and bearing coverage was helpful thank you. I had a Butternut Yellow 67 RS Camaro many years ago.

Hello, I am Japanese and I live in Japan. I've had my 1995 Chevy van for 25 years and have taken great care of it. I've never done maintenance for this video, so I will try. Thanks for the very helpful video.

closest video i can find to my 76 Buick Electra. Built like a truck ride like a Cadillac. Same set up in the front. Great vid thanks for making it.

Thanks so much. You got this! It's a little different with a 4-wheel drive. Still very do-able.

I suggest using an old brake pad to squeeze the cylinders so you don't risk marring the new pad and get grooves in your new rotors. Peace and love good sir.

What’s your rule of thumb for tighten that axle nut WHILE rotating the rotor?
@boyescustoms6 ай бұрын
Just to turn rotor while you snug it down to set the bearings. I have recently been told you're supposed to do that to 50ft-lbs. Then back it off and go to just more than hand tight. To the next slot for the cotter pin. Do you do it differently?

@@boyescustoms I followed the manual but I wasn’t happy with the drag I was getting. I need to replace the calipers so I figured while I’m in there I’d get that axle nut right. I haven’t driven the truck since spindles, bearing and seal went in. I’ve seen a number of videos where guys spin the rotor like you and test the drag. Figured that was the proper way and I’d copy it. The book is real vague and just lists torque spec.

@Fahrenheit_Motorsports yeah everybody is a little different. I just lowered this same truck with a Maxtrac kit, and the instructions said the 50ft-lbs. So... I think you'd be ok with that.
