EP. 16 My BMW E30 Restoration - Getting my E30 on the floor after 2 years!

Episode 16, this is the final episode for my 'Parts to Pavement' series.
The car is finally back on the floor after 2 long years of weld repairs and restoring all the underside components.
All restoration videos for each component, including underside work are in the added playlist.
I have decided to leave the car on wheel skates so I can easily maneuver the car if required, hopefully this will not happen as much as it used to!
A few things left to do on the underside still, this will be revisited later on.

Next time out the steering rack bolts from top of the car to the bottom. In case the nut is loosing, the bolt will stay in place, and you can feel it, now if the nut come loose, the bolt will fall to the ground

@@dhstube for the usual job this is how I do it, however you’re unable to remove the bolt if it is upright due to the engine being in the way. So the correct way is to have them bolt head down, this is also how it is from factory!
