Your insights about the wine press was so powerful. The purpose for the grapes to grow is to be crushed! Only then do they reach their potential...the finest wine. What an incredible parable. You guys...no words to describe your worth in my life. Thank you for opening my brain.

I've been frustrated trying to study 2 Nephi and the chapters of Isaiah. It occured to me to search your podcast and listen to the lessons on Isaiah. I'm so grateful to have been led to do this! "Meeting Jesus in Gethsemane"...wow. What a beautiful lesson. I'm learning a lot.

You both teach with the power of the Spirit. It came thru loud and clear. Isaiah would be proud. 🥰

I would love a special episode on Song of Songs...

I wish you would have explained why we are skipping Song of Solomon and why it is even included in the Bible at all. Does anyone have thoughts on this?

I(Mike) certainly have an opinion here. I’m covering some of this in my dissertation and when it’s finished, I’ll probably do about a couple hours on it. To be short, it’s all temple and it’s all related to the Holy of Holies. I know that there are divergent views of the text based on what it says in the JST. However, there are ways to read the text that have much import and relate to temple themes and the purposes of life, etc. Please stay tuned and be patient with me. I’ll get to this I promise.

Do you see eternal plural marriage performed in the temple in Isaiah 4:1-3?

Some people read it this way. I do not. I see it as some of Isaiah’s code speech, but that is just one way of reading. There are several ways to approach texts like these. Thanks for listening to the podcast!
