Lavender, you could plant Clematis that would grow up the wall, just nail plastic mesh for it to climb up, or climbing Rose's.

That was really nice i was just plating some jasmine roses god I’m in love with them so much and i love any good smelling roses and i think of getting some trees soon but you have a beautiful garden thanks for your efforts ❤🎉

My parents have some wonderful bicolour roses (yellowish and orange) and they smell greaaaaat!!!! I told them to make me some cutting buds so I can plant them as well. I would also like to plant some climbing pale pink roses from the patio to the balcony. I never heard about jasmine roses though... What colour are they?

@@cozyhomediary oh i love those climbing trees and to have a fully covered wall with the roses is something special to me the jasmine is green with white flowers and they smell heavenly and i would recommend to buy my favorite tree and plant it in the middle of the garden is called “cassia javanica” my goodness please search it up is so beautiful 😍

Glad you showed the outside of the home. Love the balcony. Love the wall tiles that was just put in. Suggestions for your garden is start a compost pile or bin. Throw all your kitchen scraps dead leaves grass cuttings in to produce amazing soil amendment either for your potted plants or garden. I could see triangle sails that you can use out in the courtyard for shading or a pergola. Would be nice if you had more soil in your pots to bring the plants up to the top. I'm glad you saved that pine tree and look how beautiful it is. I too found a tiny pine tree seedling where I used to work and have been trying to save it. Recently it's been turning brown and losing its needles so hopefully it will live. I have it planted in my compost pile for now. Where did you get your calla lilies from? Love your videos! ❤🎉

Yeaaaah, I was thinking about the compost bin before we moved in this house. We actually have another small garden in the back of the house and I plan to place it there (for eventual smell). It's a sustainable way both for the waste and to grow beautiful plants with the soil resulting from the compost. Now we are also thinking at a pergola or a huge umbrella (it's a cheaper solution for now heheh). About the pots, you are right, I didn't have enough soil, I need to buy more and fill the pots. And yes the pine tree is my huge pride 💚💚💚💚💚💚 Try to water yours as much as you can and place it in the shade. The callas are a gift from my partner's uncle. He has a huge terrain (it's where I shot Episode 14). He has soooooooooo many now. Every time I visit him, he gives some of his flowers because he knows how much I love them. 💚🌸 Have a great Sunday! ❤️❤️❤️

Grazie mille! Adesso, con quel muro lì è un disastro, ma sicuramente una volta finito sarà bellissimo (questo se sarò in grado di curare le piante 🤭🤭). Gli alberi dietro casa sono quelli per cui, in realtà, hp deciso di acquistarla. También porque quien sabe cuantos errores cometeré ya que es la primera vez que intento la jardinería jajaja Para la hiedra si. Plantamos algunas cerca de los cubos de basura que podéis ver en el vídeo al fondo del patio. Pero el muro es realmente inseguro y hay que reconstruirlo. Entonces dejaré que la hiedra lo cubra. 😍💚😍 Esta tarde pondré un vídeo donde se vea el muro con los ladrillos que faltan al otro lado, en el parque. Adding aloe plants to Christmas baskets is a great idea! Here in Canada, I have to dig up my dahlias every autumn and winter them in a cool place in our house. Come April I have to plant them in a pot of wet dirt and not water until the shoots begin to show. I can't put them in my garden until about the third week of May. They are a bit of a pain, but I do love them. I just finished spreading chopped onions all around my Angelique tulips because either rabbits or squirrels have chomped down three of them and I don't want to lose anymore of them. Fingers crossed!

I love dahlias as well but it's my first time planting them. My parents gave me the bulbs and in Romania they do the same thing you do in Canada because it's super cold in winter. Maybe next year I will plant tulips as well. Actually I would love to plant all the flowers possible 😂😂😂😂. Maybe for the Christmas baskets some dry lavander would be nice too. I am planning to buy some too hehe. 😘🤗🌸💚

@@di4085 Just to let you know, the pests only ate 3 so I think maybe the chopped onions all around the plants maybe worked. If you remember, try it next year. Good luck. I'm hoping to get my dahlias in soon and if they eat them too, I will cry! Hopefully the onions will work for them, too.

I love the color of the outside walls of your house, especially paired with the color of the garden tiles. They’re very complementary colors and also so soothing. I also really enjoy the sound of the birds chirping. I don’t hear much of that healing nature soundtrack in my noisy Los Angeles neighborhood. Instead, I hear the annoyingly loud exhausts of people who are starving for attention 🙄 I’m really looking forward to seeing how your garden turns out. I know it’s going to look straight out of a fairytale when you’re done. Plants know when they’re loved, and they wanted a second life when they met you, their new and loving mom.

Thank you! Yeah we wanted something to sooth our soul 😬. The chirping of the birds is what I needed most after living in a chaotic city life. Milan is as you describe LA, full of people starving for attention. I needed to be in touch with nature, back to our true nature. I hope I will be able to transform it as soon as possible, but it takes a lot of time, patience and especially money 😂😂😂 It surprises me though that I was able to revive this plants. When we use to live in an apartment, every plant I have died. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Maybe it was the lack of loads of light or the lack of happiness I used to feel back then. Plants feel and understand us! 💚💚💚💚💚

My in-laws helped us assemble and install our ikea kitchen in our last apartment. That's why it was so hard for me, when we sold our apartment, to add a mortgage payment to our current home, because it brings back those sweet memories. By the way, my mother and grandmother used to have lots of aloe vera in their garden in Jakarta, Indonesia. They use aloe vera gel as a hair mask before shampooing, once a week. Cut your large aloe vera trunk into suitable pieces, remove the gel and apply it to your scalp, then massage vigorously. Leave on for around 10 minutes, covering your head with a hot steam towel. Then rinse your hair with a normal shampoo until it is clean. In this way, it helps prevent hair loss and the premature appearance of white hair. The result is healthy, thick, shiny hair.

We installed by ourselves our Ikea kitchen and it was a nightmare 😂😂😂 but yeah, when we do things with our family, we get more attached to things. Ale vera is a real manna from heaven. It helped me a lot with an ugly sun allergy and I already took notes about your mask recipe. @@cozyhomediary I'll be 41 this year. I know exactly what you mean and I have two cats instead of a dog, but I shed more than my cats. That's for sure hahah. Hormonal problems, age and stress can cause an imbalance of sebum in our scalp. In my personal experience, when the scalp is healthy, there's no need to worry about hair regrowth. Bonjour Cory, courage pour ton jardin. Ça va être superbe. Moi j'ai un très grand terrain mais une mauvaise terre. Alors cette année j'ai fait des expériences : j'ai planté épinards, salades, radis, fraises, tomates, courgettes et même des poireaux hier dans...des cagettes et dans des grands bacs à fleurs. Ça ne pourra de toute façon pas donner moins que sur ma terre argileuse. 😅 Tu m'as donné une idée avec l'aloès vera. Merci pour ta vidéo. 😚

😂 anch'io non uso i guanti, amo toccare la terra. Ho creato il mio nuovo giardino tre anni fa e lo sto perfezionando. Assolutamente ti consihlii di piantare lavanda, io ne ho sei piante e oltre i sacchettini ci faccio la tisana. Per la tusana anche melissa e e per il thè la menta. Guarda, ogni volta io mi concio come un porcello, ma anche io come te, amo toccare la terra. (poi non ti dico per pulire le unghie 😂😂😂😂) Mio papa mi ha detto che non è molto da "lady" hahahahah. La menta ce l'ho, mi sono dimenticata di farla vedere, magari nel prossimo video 😬, poi sicuramente prenderò la lavanda e la melissa. Vorrei anche la camomilla e tutte le piante aromatiche per cucinare. Poi tanti fiorellini. Mi piacerebbe una bella rosa arrampicante, poi una ragazza mi ha scritto della clematis che è stupenda. Instead of building why not just give a good painting on the wall it could last a long time just with some paint to match the house as for grout you have to take care before the weather conditions causes problems but you guys are doing a great job Roma wasn’t built in a day 😂 enjoy your beautiful home

We can't paint it because it's full of moss 🤦🏻‍♀️ We would have to scrape it all. But we have to re-build it because it's too sloped and on the other side there are a lot of bricks fallen on the ground. It's becoming dangerous and it may fall. ​Bună dimineața dragul meu prieten Cory! Mai întâi doar am salutat 🕊👋🙂, mai târziu m-am uitat la filmul tău, m-a interesat și acest film, la fel ca atunci când ne-ai dus la Amsterdam! A fost grozav să-l văd pe zidar când a început să lipească pietrele de fundațiile exterioare și de fundul caselor. Sunt deosebit de interesată de construcții 🧱⛏️🪜🪚🪛, pentru că am făcut-o și noi. Renovarea unei case vechi este întotdeauna mai dificilă, dar în același timp este o provocare frumoasă! Faci un lucru minunat! Ei fac multe și în afara casei tale! A fost bine sa vezi cand maturi la sfarsit 🧹🙂 si sa auzi sunetul maturii 🧹🔊 sa vezi cum faci praf si iubesti ordinea. Era bine sa auzi sunetul pietrelor 🔉 pe cat le aranjeaza si le pune le sus. Mi-a făcut plăcere să văd că îți transplantezi florile! Multe flori mici din jurul florii mame sunt drăguțe. 🐔🐥🐥🐥 V-aș fi ajutat cu plăcere să introduceți cutiile și să le asamblați mai târziu. Mă întreb ce ar putea fi în el👀? Mi-a făcut plăcere să văd papucii tăi drăguți 🩴, rochie frumoasă, 👖 păr frumos 🤩 într-un coc 👀🐕, care este la fel de curios și era peste tot în jurul nostru! Urechea👂 s-a dovedit totul, în mintea mea, am mângâiat-o. Mi-a plăcut banca 🪑, mi-a plăcut când ți-ai pus papucii în direcția 🔄 și i-ai întors. M-am uitat la lucrările de instalare electrică, 💡 luminile, aerul condiționat mare.. scările din lemn, care sunt un decor frumos pentru casele tale, la fel ca decorarea unei ferestre🪟✨️ este perdeaua frumoasă, don nu cazi🪜 când o pui sus! Până la urmă, am avut timp doar să te felicit, 🤝👍💪 cât de bine progresezi zi de zi! Ceea ce este trist pentru mine este că nici astăzi nu găsesc recordurile maghiare 💡📚! Dobbiamo solo avere un po' di pazienza perché la spesa non è per nulla indifferente. 😬 Per i bulbi, mannaggia hai ragione! Io non ricordo il nome ma quella che intendo ha delle ventosine che si attaccano al muro da sole Copre tutto il muro senza bisogno di dipingerlo Su KZbin ho visto dei video con quel nome. Noi avevamo “rubato” dei getti ed era venuto molto bello sul muro della nostra precedente abitazione. Puoi anche mescolarlo ad altri tipi.

In autunno diventa rosso e in inverno si spoglia e restano i rametti. Sì può mischiare all’edera o ad altre piante del genere per avere colori diversi, o anche fiori (caprifoglio, rincospermo ecc.) Un vivaista ti può aiutare. Mi piace il sito KZbin dei vivai le georgiche che forse ti è abbastanza vicino.

It's called Butcher's-broom or you can check the Latin name Ruscus aculeatus. Now, the info and uses may depend on country you live in. In Italy they use it for veins in general, but it can be also diuretic or laxative, reduces swelling and helps to speed the recovery of fractures. In any case it's good to have it 💚☺️🤗

Il muro potrebbe essere lavato con il pulivapor, ho visto persone farlo, e poi delle belle piante arrampicati faranno il resto, ci sono anche delle bellissime specie di roselline che si arrampicano sui muri, edera, il gelsomino che emana un profumo stupendo, io non lo abbatterei quel muro, da un gran senso di privacy. Magari se ci si riesce qualche finestrella con delle belle inferriate.

Ciao e grazie mille per il consiglio. 😘❤️🌸 Abbiamo pensato anche noi di pulirlo, ma è troppo pericolante e deve essere ricostruito. Non so se hai visto Episodio 18, ma lì faccio vedere il muro dal esterno e purtroppo mancano tantissimi mattoni. Inoltre è anche leggermente piegato verso il nostro cortile. Non so se la colpa è delle radici degli alberi che vanno sotto o altro... Sicuramente metteremo delle piante arrampicanti, una volta definitivo. Stavamo quasi pensando di farlo in ferro come le inferriate della casa perché costa meno ed è molto più facile, ma dopo i problemi con l'esondazione del Lambro che ci sono stati i giorni passati, ci abbiamo ripensato eccome 😁. Anche perché (anche questo si vede in Ep.18) il Lambro passa proprio dietro casa nostra. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Grazie ancora e buon week end. 🌸❤️🤗😘

@@robychia7667 Ebbene ci ha fatto spaventare e non poco direi 😬. Il ponte vicino casa nostra è stato chiuso perché l'acqua aveva superato la soglia di sicurezza. Per fortuna o purtroppo per alcuni, il Lambro ha invaso tutti i campi circostanti e questo ci ha salvato perché non è arrivato da noi. Comunque, per precauzione, noi ci siamo barricati nel cortile con assi grandi di legno e sacchi di cemento e sabbia. (la fortuna è che non abbiamo finito i lavori e abbiamo ancora tanto materiale hahahah)
