This game was awesome for it's time, the trick to fixing the crease was duct tape to smooth it out

God, I remember playing this game for hours with my older sister when we were kids in the 80s.

I had this one as a kid. It was a fun game. There is also a G.I.Joe game that is very similar to it.

It was called the G.I. Joe Commando Attack Game.

This game likely was too expensive to casually ask mom and dad to buy on Sunday after church; I begged and begged them to buy this and said I’d never ask for anything till BDay or Xmas; love the toy ships; I can’t imagine the fun a kid would have playing Admiral and winning WW2

Great game. Nothing worse when the board crease blocks a target. I remember my torpedoes hitting those bumps and completely launching over the target ship.

Very neat game, looks even bigger than Battlemasters. Big plus is you get a bunch of cool ships to play with. And you know it's old if you see a Woolworth's sticker on it.lol Great Review

Did you roll dice to move the sub? Any strategy or is it a glorified "battling tops"? "Carrier Strike!" (1977) was super cool for detail and strategy.

Those G. I. Joe games are kind of like a mix between checkers Chinese checkers and battle tank. You can take prisoners after making an attack and battle your way with the dice to destroy the Cobra HQ (in both games). The 92' version of the 85' game is like the sequel to the 85' game. The difference is that you got less soldiers on each team and vehicles along with the use of the mini Nerf gun. That's cool n fun. The giJoe live the adventure game is just a dueling game against Cobra until one of the players gets all the medals while trying to get more energy. The 2002 Joe game is a strategy game. I didn't get to that one yet I was playing the other games I got.

Hey buddy do you know where I can find plastic totes that you can store one board game inside that have the measurements of a board game? Like how you would store a comic book

@@BoardGameMuseumer Walmart has em' for sure I figured they would have them there and big lots. And one more thing um if I stack alotta games on top of each other will they ruin the games underneath the other games because of the wait? That's kinda why I'm buying the totes so they don't get wear n tair. Well thanks again for your help. Later dude☺️

@@BoardGameMuseumer the weight I meant not wait whoops sorry I meant the weight of the games
@vinclash77636 жыл бұрын
@@BoardGameMuseumer ya I noticed that in your videos. You do that with your games. That's smart because there's no weight really weighing down on the boxes. Those boxes can be kind of light. I got those G.I. Joe games 85' & 92' and those are pretty heavy for a board game. Those I put on the bottom obviously 🙂or on the side. Alright thanks pal. Later
