I love Generation Kill.. They did a great job with the ball busting and camaraderie amongst grunts. Always brings back memories from my grunt days. Back when HBO had good series. Awesome to hear the story from a guy who’s lived it.

As a dude who hasn't been through 1% of the adversity jason's been through, Seeing him being able to reflect on it all and be so introspective and also so entertaining is insane to me show's just how level headed the dude is after everything he's seen and been through. Major respect to everyone that puts themselves in harm's way for our sake, You guy's deserve the world!

As a civilian from SW Louisiana, nothing makes me smile more than to hear one of our military veterans (TRUE BADA$$’S) tell the truth about war and follow it up with something like…and I don’t give a shit what people think, it’s WAR, that’s the way it is, and I’m not apologizing for it! Unbelievable that we have Veterans censored from telling the reality of war! As far as I’m concerned, My hats off to every single person protecting American Freedom and if somebody doesn’t want to hear the reality of it, then don’t listen to it! Just know you’re safe here in America while you complain about it! Hats off to all of our brave men and women! Cheers!🍻🇺🇸

I thought it was awesome generation kill and I think it came out around 03 -04 cause I joined in 05 . The show was a factor for me joining . I was in my mid thirties and was sick of being a freedom moocher quit a great job and entered the military world 11b us army I ended up in airborne. I had no aspirations for that and it was two weeks before basic well AIT ended and my drill sgt says your going to airborne school you got a problem with that ? No drill sgt witch kinda threw a wrench in my plans I was going home to chill for a couple weeks and the next class was starting a week later so I never left benning until after airborne school and found a home with the 82nd and have zero regrets . One regret why didn’t I join when I was 18 . I did well I was always a good athlete I’m a big goon I thrives in the military and was going for 20 and made 6 years got hurt and that was end of that story to late

I don't mind that I had to look up "TIC" and other military acronyms, but might you define them on the bottom of the screen?

I used to post a reference in the description and I define the terms in clips but I haven't added pop-up info to the full show yet. I appreciate the feedback!

@@FormerActionGuys I served from 95 to 99. I enlisted because I grew up without a father figure and I wanted to be a better man by learning from Alpha males (I joined at a late age.) I could've easily joined the USN because their age limit was in the 30's but it's full of openly gay members (and it would've been too easy) no thanks. I chose the USMC because it's for men who wants to be better men, and women to be better women. Now USMC welcomes gays and their woke ideology. F that. I won't encourage my kids to enlist. I would've hated taking orders from gays and trans. USMC is finished and so is the USA.

@@FormerActionGuys Why TF would you welcome commies into the USMC? I've been living in Japan since after my discharge and it was sad to see my beautiful hometown San Francisco turned into commie liberal sh!thole during my visits, Japan is it for me. There's nothing to come back to in the US. It's really sad.
