Love the conversation, I’ll re watch it again as i partially listened to Spotify then switched to KZbin when i hard more time to watch. Thank you for sharing your thoughts especially on the WIP side of sharing the experience of how you feel doing your work not just the finished product. love this. I have a British Railway layout at 1:76 scale. I would like to scratchbuild more and possibly do them from photos or Google earth but struggle with getting the correct dimensions. Also where can I find signage and facade covers? Thanks in advance Charlie

David would probably have a few great tips, but for me... trust your eye! Once you get the basic proportions from Google maps and street view, get a rough measurement by using something like the door of a building (1.3cm for me in n-scale) and then you can measure everything from that. It's not going to be 100% accurate but that's where you gotta trust your eye; if it looks right, go with it! Oh, I'm not sure what you mean by signage and facade covers... Thanks for watching! Mylyn
