Awesome video man, I'm from Windsor ON, so I get only a few opportunities to go out. I haven't caught any yet, but I went out a handful of times this year, any advise so I don't drive up 4 hours and get skunked? lol
@theastuteangler27 күн бұрын
@@sunbros.2002 well sir, the salmon are done, but steelhead still around. Come up during the week if you can, less angler pressure. Come a couple days after a rain - we just had rain last night. Fish the lower sections of river - slow, deep pools. The fish are not jumping in December, so be sure to fish downstream of any dam or obstruction. Winter is usually slow fishing for steelhead, but they are in their best condition of the year. We enjoy the winter because less anglers and the invigorating weather. If you want sheer numbers of fish, wait until March.

@@theastuteangler 4ft from float to hook in less than 2ft of water (as seen in 6:45 when compared to the length of the fish). There really isnt any explanation other than flossing at that point. I don't care or judge if you floss, but using eggs to do so is just a waste imo.
